This stuff really gets the yellowjackets!
I have used the Rescue yellowjacket attractant for several years, and it works very well. The picture shows one of my traps 24 hours after rebaiting. This stuff works really well at the end of the summer when the yj's are getting irritable and are really hunting for meat or something. I put my traps out a ways from my back deck because otherwise you will attract hordes of them right to where you don't want them. By putting out traps around the perimeter of my yard, it will intercept a lot of them before getting to where they harass you. They love this stuff! I also bait traps in the spring when the temps get to 60 and above consistently and catch the queens while they are out searching for a nest site. No queens, no nests full of yj's in your yard later!

Definitely catches yellow jackets and no bees
My neighbor has several bee hives to produce honey. My wife is allergic to bee stings. I have always gotten stung at least once each year doing yard work by yellow jackets. I got real good at eliminating the nest once I found them but that was usually after being stung. This product, if put out early spring and maintained has kept my property free from any nests for two years now (bought April 2021), this is the third year I'm using it and already have 4 jackets dead in the trap and only yellow jackets no honey bees. Highly recommended!

Effective
Does a good job of controlling wasps, hornets and yellow jackets. Helps stop being stung.

This is the best low-maintenance trap that targets the nasty yellowjacket
The DYI traps work well but you have to service them nightly. I do use them but these can last much longer without having to recharge. I am a beekeeper and the yellow jacket is my enemy to the hive. I use these early in the season to catch the queens. The next best DYI is the cat paste food over soap trick, that dries out in one day and does not work in March when the queens are ready to build their under nests.

Didn't Work For Me!
I always have plenty of yellow jacket workers around my house in summer and fall. I kill as many queens in the spring every year as I can to try to reduce their numbers. This year, I killed 280 queens! But, now that it is mid-July, I still have an abundance of workers. This makes routine yard work, such as mowing, risky because of the possibility of stirring up a nest - and at my advancing age I can't run as fast as I used to.So, this year I thought I'd try yellow jacket traps for the first time. I researched several different designs on YouTube and constructed a few. The ones I made reportedly had better results than the ready made traps that you can buy. Some of the videos showed them catching hundreds in only a few hours. After trying several homemade baits with little to no success, I decided to try this Rescue attractant. The product description and reviews sounded very encouraging, so I was excited to try it for the first time today after receiving it yesterday. I followed the instructions very carefully and put out my first trap early this morning. I am disappointed to say, that after being outside near my patio all day, my trap did not catch ONE SINGLE YELLOW JACKET! I would have had the same result if I had used insect repellent! This is very discouraging. I can't imagine a product being a bigger fail. And, it is not due to a lack of workers being around. You can hardly sit out on my patio without being annoyed by them constantly. Now, I did not place my trap close to the entrance of a nest (as some of the videos did). If I know where the nest is I won't need a trap! I'll just wait until dark and eliminate the entire colony at once. That is why I was looking for an attractant that worked which would draw them to my trap(s).Maybe other users had better success, but I thought that I would just share my lack thereof.

works great.
I bought this trap for my daughter because she was having problems with Yellow Jackets. The wasps were getting into the house through a hole, so I hung the trap right next to the hole and it attracted the wasp. The scent that is provided works great and the bottle was full of wasps in no time at all. I would definitely recommend this trap for Yellow Jackets, and I would buy again!!

Effective product
I'm getting ready extra early to catch the queen so my yard is relatively free of yellow jackets in the summer. This attractant really works to lure the yellow jackets and is simple to use. I do prefer the 10 week pack but this is fine for early season use.
