Does the internal padding include a memory foam layer as well as the gel layer?

have both knees replaced, so knees are a little more sensitive to pain and I am 70. will these work good???

I spend a lot of time on my knees at work and recently have started having pain in my right knee. These pads have made a huge difference and are very comfortable.

Do these bunch up your jeans or pants in back of your knee when they are strapped on the knees?

I did not have material bunch behind the knee, but sometimes with baggy sweats and such, the material would bunch under the straps. Just wear pants that are fitted on your legs otherwise the extra material will bunch when you're strapping them to your thighs & calves, or wear shorts since they are completely padded inside & covered with fabric.

the circumference of my knee is 16.5 inches. Will the permanent strap on the bottom fit so that there is sufficient velcro to grab the other side?

There is plenty of Velcro’s for but for my legs they were a bit long. I made them work but if you are beats sewing machine they can easily be shortened
