MP4, but note that it is the newer H.265, and not H.264

How does it work if it only have one camera?

It has 2 180° cameras that makes the 360° or you can also use 1 camera and take 180° picture and video

Does this work only with galaxy phones? is there a way to use it with an iphone or ipad or a mac computer?

The "Gear 360 Manager" is a Galaxy specific app from Samsung. The "Action Director" video processing software (by Cyberlink) is for PC as far as I know.
