I chose this because the ingredients were low toxin and it is fragrance free. I have a number of high end products I like and they are the bar I would hold all products to and this cream does not meet the bar.Some of my favorite "clean beauty" moisturizers are:Lord Jones Acid MantleSaturday Skin WaterfallDrunk Elephant Lala Retro (for something a little lighter)Augustinus Bader Rich CreamSo if you are going to drop some money, like the same amount this cream costs, and need a really good moisturizer for dry skin, personally, I would go with some of those or something else. This left my skin feeling like it needed more moisturizer. If used right after I wash my face, it kinda burns. I have never had that happen before.So overall ... it would be a pass for me. My $65 would be better spent on other moisturizers I really really love.

WOW! This cream feels soooooo luxurious and fancy! I’m a HUGE fan of Davines hair products, and this is made by the same company. I was completely unaware that they also have a sustainable skin care line! 😮 I’m blown away at how great this smells (very herbal with hints of citrus, clove, and lavender, although I don’t think that’s in there!) and how much my skin soaks it up. I’m 39 and have noticed my maturing skin looking more tired and dull lately. It’s also dry in patches, while oily in others. Even after a few uses (morning and night) my skin looks plumper, more supple, radiant, and even-toned. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling too greasy or heavy. It even has a bit of a cooling effect, so after a long day of running after my toddler, this feels SO RELAXING. I’ve had a few people ask me what I’ve done different lately.... and I haven’t done A THING except started using this product. My mom even said I looked more rested and my skin looks clearer! 🙌🏼I HIGHLY recommend this! A little goes a long way, so even though it’s not that big, it should last awhile. This is made in Italy and comes in a beautiful jar that looks great on your bathroom counter. I try a lot of skin care as I have a bit of an obsession with it. And for a brand I have never heard of previously I’m actually quite impressed with this stuff and am surprised there’s not more talk about it.I had dry skin my whole life until about 2 years ago and it all of a sudden turned oily with some dry patches out of nowhere, as skin sometimes does. So my whole skincare ritual has changed dramatically to reflect my new skin type. This cream actually helps my skin quite a lot. It gets rid of the dry patches I have, and after using it for 2 weeks I don’t have a single dry patch left on my face. But it also does not leave my skin more oily which is a feat! The texture of it seams like it’s going to be super thick at first, but once you put it on your skin literally soaks it up. I’m honestly very impressed with this stuff! And coming from me that’s saying a lot since I rarely love a moisturizer. Maybe 1 out of about 15 I try I actually love. I would really like to try more from this brand in the future and see if anything else tickles my fancy! Haha. Definitely recommend!

This unassuming, almost "folksy" little jar contains some amazing stuff! It very nearly looks like it could be holding some raw honey or some such other product that you might find at a farmers' market. Very kitschy, very on-brand.This arrives in a really cute box that underscores the brand's commitment to nature. Even that pretty little box can be recycled.The product itself is a natural hue and has a natural scent. Both are very appealing. Now, this has a medium consistency, but it's also super emollient. It disperses over skin with relative ease.This has a slightly heavy feel ... but it is also "seriously" soothing. It never entirely dried-down so I switched out my silk pillowcase for a cotton one that night. At this point, I just use this during the day (where it really helps heal the effects of my overuse of retiniods and microneedling).A small but fantastic little jar! Highly recommended!
