The auger, two juicing screens, and blank are all made from GE Ultem.

Do you peel fruit skins on apples, ginger, carrots or other vegetables? Thanks.

Most fruits/vegetables you do not have to peel them. Apples, ginger, carrots are all fine as is. Some people core the apple, others do not. Cantaloupe, pineapple, and similar items should be peeled. Oranges should be peeled, due to flavor, but lemons and limes do not need peeled.

What is the wattage? Is there a phone number for the company so I can ask some basic warranty questions before I purchase?
