I am so glad I bought this - I had really been on the fence. But it has been such a treat to wear this winter. Even though it is a skirt, it is long and keeps the cold air away from your legs, creating a cocoon of warmth, even in windy conditions. The snaps have held up well and it is helpful having the pockets, although the puffy down makes space a little tight. I can slip my cell phone in one pocket and my keys and the other easily but not much more than that. The elastic in the back is helpful if I'm wearing many layers so it always fits. Having this skirt has made enduring the winter almost enjoyable!

I’ve worn short quilted skirts in the past and was looking for a long down skirt. What arrived was nowhere’s near as stiff looking as the one in the photo. Its pockets are huge and the fit is perfect. The only downside is that the snaps are stiff. Although its shipped from China, it arrived within 2 1/2 weeks…very acceptable. Nothing wrong with being cute, warm and cozy. -

I brought this skirt on a Christmas markets river cruise and at least 10 people asked for the Amazon link. It doesn’t stain. It doesn’t wrinkle. It keeps you warm. You can dress it up or down. It scrunches to small in your luggage. And, it is unusually chic. If I could, I’d buy it for all my favorite gals.

This skirt is the real thing - 80% duck down.. Of course it’s bulky, but it’s almost stylish with a top tucked into the waist. The flared lines can allow cold air in, but leggings underneath help with warmth. My favorite position is sitting with my legs tucked under the skirt. An instant cozy blanket.Delivery was slow and confusing, since I received notice it had arrived when it hadn’t, but the seller communicated well and resolved the problem within days.

I am a horse rider in Wisconsin and have a riding skirt for our cold winter rides. However, I got this one for my son who is disabled and wheelchair bound. We have wonderful winter ponchos for him to wear for transport to his day programing. With temps and wind chills well below zero, it's difficult to find comfortable outerwear that you don't have to lay him down to put it on. In the past we had used small blankets to wrap round his legs but they seem to loosen up and fall on the ground or get caught in the wheels. This riding skirt acts as a poncho for the lower half of his body. It has snap enclosures all the way from waist to ankles. I don't have to take him out of his chair to put it on. Just snap it behind his waist and then again, behind his knees. It tucks in nicely without extra fabric flopping around in the cold wind. The snaps are quite secure, however, they seem loosely attached to the fabric. I feel that if I don't take extra care when pulling them open, they may tear the fabric. If that happens, I have all summer to have the snaps replaced with some reinforcement. Time will tell.

The skirt seems fine and is warm enough, all things considered, though any breeze that comes along will readily pass through the snap closure. Also, the sizing is very frustrating for me. The XL is loose enough on me it'll fall off even when wearing a few layers under it. The L is tight enough I can't wear it comfortably with nothing on underneath it. The band has some elastic to it, but even that isn't enough to compensate one way or the other.Maybe it'll fit fine on you. Not so for me.

Although hardly a fashion statement, this skirt was a game changer post back surgery as it was easy to slide into over thinner sweats, meaning we could take quick walks in the snowy cold without struggling into thicker jeans/snow pants.Easy to throw on over dressier clothes as well, to keep you warm in transit to the next holiday party.It’s become a cold weather staple, so thrilled I gave it a chance.
