Decent mid range phone
I bought this for my son who loves it, especially the camera. The finger scanner is ok but would be better a a full side scanner. Apart from that great battery life, multitasking and performance. Phones at the same price by other brands are less powerful or have smaller batteries and cameras aren't as good quality so it's an absolute bargain for £200 (I got for £180 on sale).

Overall a pretty good phone - once personalised
I purchased this to replace a Windows phone, which I liked very much; unfortunately software support had expired and the battery was on the way out, giving little more than one day's service between charges.I thus had to get used to not only a new phone but the Android operating system. The user guide, although it does cover all the most important points, is not presented in the best way. For example, it explains how to insert SIM and memory cards. In fact a memory card is not required unless you have very large memory requirements, e.g. a great many photos. The procedure for connecting to Wi-Fi and setting up e-mail would be better placed earlier. Still, if you go through the guide from cover to cover you will find most of what you need. This phone has plenty of battery capacity, and the charger supplied charges the battery rapidly.Compared with an Android phone a work colleague demonstrated to me several years ago, I was surprised to find how heavily "Googlized" it is. In fact I found that Microsoft Office for Android was very efficient at installing my personal contact details. Data can be copied from or to a computer using just a USB lead to connect the two; it is not necessary to tell Google all about it. The Google Assistant button can be disabled if you do not want it. There is an option to download Firefox, if, like me, you prefer higher security browsing, and you can set your own default search engine.Personalising is easy enough. You can use your own wallpaper, ringtones, etc, as well as the many built-in.There are various keyboards available, but I have set it to use the one that always has a numbers row visible - very useful for putting in mixtures of letters and numbers. It is better than Windows Phone in this respect.Cameras are good - three lens choices, plus the selfie lens. Good burst-mode feature - effectively a short movie with very-easy editing of a single frame. Fingerprint reader not used so far.Overall, a worthy replacement of my Windows phone.

Good value phone for the money
This phone isn't the best at anything, but it is an excellent phone at this price point. Well constructed, great battery life. Everything works well. Best thing is an unaltered version of Android and absolutely no brand bloatware. It updated to Android 12 as soon as switched on. Charging is quick.

Solid and balanced everyday smartphone
The Nokia G50 is a very balanced handset, capable of powering through the day with ease for everyday activities, from checking websites, emails pay with Google Pay in shops, enjoying some video... all with access to 5G (if your tariff has it enabled)All in all, a good all rounder. It may not shine in some spec sheet but it doesn't really matter in everyday use.One thing to consider is the display's size. This phone is very big and tall so it may be difficult to operate one handed

Big Battery , Slow Charger!
Unlike most I tend to go through phones pretty quickly, usually 3 to 4 months if I'm lucky. To date I've been buying Huawei phones but decided to try this Nokia G50 5G for a change. Not really interested in the camera though there's an impressive array on the back of the phone, it's quite heavy and rather large which I don't mind but someone with smaller hands might struggle with.Broadly the phone is no better or worse than any other in the price range I guess. One of the principal selling points of this phone is the size and performance of the battery which I'd not dispute however the quality and performance of the charger is very disappointing, I used the accompanying charger once and realised on the basis of how hot it got that it's barely appropriate not to mention the extended period to fully charge.I don't make too many demands on my mobile phone, once data and calls work ok I'm happy but there are a couple of changes I'd make to this phone if I could,1. Remove the bloody Google assistant button from the phone.2. Remove the google search bar from the bottom of the screen.3. Remove the line of recently used apps from the screen. For me these functions are a barrier to intuitive use especially the google button! On balance the phone is OK though in July or August when it's being replaced I'll look elsewhere for a replacement.

Hopeless warranty service
Absolutely terrible service - I have had to send the phone back to Romania of all places twice now - both times it has come back as either they can't fault it or repaired - this last time it won't even power on nor charge up - clearly not even QC'd after their so called "repair" - avoid Nokia - they use HMD who are clearly a bunch of pirates to carry out their repairs

Good value
Good value for a dual sim 5G phone. Specs sufficient but could be better e.g. it's not full 1080 hd just 720. 64gb memory not bad if not into photos so much but 128gb minimum nowadays if you take plenty of photos and videos. Nice to have a dual sim 5G phone but both my networks not even got 5g in my town and I hear it's very patchy elsewhere. Phone says it's "future proof" as it's got 5g capabilities built in. Partly right but by the time we get 5g the mobile most probably be running on a old ish version of Android and not getting the latest security android Google updates by then.... But that's not this phones fault, that's the mobile companies too slow in their 5g roll out. So plus points it's dual sim with 5g ready.... Negative points better if full 1080hd , bigger ram , memory & storage. Speaker could be better . Not stereo or surround sound like others . I would say good value for the price but could be greater.....
