Dose it hold your hair well like thic hair?

I use them for the ends of plaits, for which they are perfect, for tying up a section of the hair and I also use them to crochet around to make a more attractive bobble. They have good stretch, much better than thicker ones I have bought and I haven't had one break on me...yet. They might be a little too thin for very thick hair.
