love these. they are the only headphones that i can leave in for hours and don't hurt my ears. i've had these for months and they are pretty durable. the rubber ear pieces don't fall off and get lost like other ear phones. the main reason i purchased these was because i hate having wires all over the place and these are compact and easy to carry. my son keeps a pair in his book bag, i keep a couple pairs in my purse for airline flights or long doctor visits while the kids are in the waiting room, etc. out of 4 pair that we've been using for the last 5 months or so, only 1 pair isn't winding back up completely and perfectly as it did - it still winds back up but not completely.

These ear buds are great! Very convenient! What I really like is they don't get all tangled up! I hate having to untangle earbuds! It took me a little while to figure out that in order detract them, no matter how little you have pulled them out, you have too pull them all the way out until you hear , click. Then, they should fully retract. I like these so much, this is my second pair. I've had my first pair for over a year and they are in great shape. I use them every other day and when I go to restaurants.

I need retractable earbuds for my laptop at work and had to replace a pair I'd had for a long time. Bought these and the sound quality was awful. Also, after about three uses the retractable part just got tangled and didn't retract fully and I can't fix it, so they're going in the trash. A complete waste.

You really have to fight with this to get the wires to retract. There is no button to press to retract it, so you have to kind of pull it out a little more to get it to retract back on its own, but it only works about 25% of the time. The other times the cord just unravels and you have to pull and tug to get it back. Too much of a hassle for headphones that I just wanted to be out of the way. The sound quality seemed okay, but I only used it once or twice because it was such a pain to get the cord to retract that I gave up on it.

My wife likes to use these when she is using her Kindle Fire Tablet or her Apple iPhone 6. She is not looking for really good audio performance. All she wants is to be able to listen to narration or audio from audible books. These fit that idea very well and to have them self-retracting is like 'icing on the cake'

Recently went on a trip - spent lots of time untangling my ear buds and feeling frustrated. I have a retractable charging cord in my car and my husband said, someone should make the same thing for ear buds! Ta Da!! Someone does! I ordered black for him and white for me. All our unretractable ear buds just went into the thrift store donation box!!

I got this for my purse to use while travelling and it's perfect for that. It would be a bad choice for running or working out but it's ok for what I need it for.

Boy, it didn't take long to tangle up, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. I think my son was only ably to get these to fully retract a few times before the mechanism got all wonky and wouldn't wind right. Then the sound went out in one earbud. Waste of money, not worth the postage to send back.
