yes .our farmhouse dining room light fixture for slopping ceiling is ok ,it with some toggling adaper or swivel for slopping ceilings

Does the light fit over a round hole in the ceiling, noticed the top is rectangle?

Our previous light was circular and ours fit but I recommend checking the diameter of the hole first then comparing with light dimensions.

How do you choose 4 or 5 lights for 9 foot island in dark space?

I have the 4 light bulb but the 5 will also work. Just make sure you center it.
