Do the bolts/ hardware still rust easily or was there an upgrade as most of the rust reviews were from 2016 and prior?

I have this bench on my covered front porch. The bolts have not rusted.

Great bench. The screws are mild steel and need to be replaced with stainless. We have had ours out in the weather for over a year and we are very happy with it. I am ordering another one today.

How comfortable is the seat and the back? do you need a cushion? thanks

It’s comfortable as is but I would use a cushion if I were going to sit on it for an extended period of time. Nice quality bench.
