I bought the portable glass kit and was short 3 items. what should I do

Wow, thinking back to how it was packaged, I can imagine that something just fell out of the box. I'd first contact the seller. They might be able to get replacement parts from the manufacturer. Or, second - maybe first...- contact the manufacturer direct. If it's a small part, they'll probably just mail it to you, but if it's one of the major parts you might have a problem proving that it's actually missing. I have no experience with either company, and certainly can't speak for them. Be nice but firm, they should respect a paying customer. Good luck!

Is the waffling grid made from the same eggcrate grid you can find at your local hardware store?

No not the same. Plastic bottom on the glass shop grid catches glass slivers resulting from cutting. Also hardware Grid does not appear to be as heavy duty

I just got mine. It says it is not compatible with the other waffle grid--although the title clearly says it is compatible. Which is it?

The Morton Portable Glass Shop IS compatible with the Creator's Waffle Grid. That is why it is advertised so.

Will this system work with just one morton mini surface plus pack (so two boards) or do you need two packs (4 boards)?

I ordered Verdugo Gift Company Clear Waffle Grid - 6 pack from Amazon for $49.75. Great deal - Work great. I used 4 grids with the Morton System.
