Are these better in cold weather compared to plastic ones?

Well, if I had to order them again, I would stick to the best standard black plastic ones. These metal caps do not seem to seal quite a well as the less expensive plastic ones. And I have lost two of them when I had my tires rotated and aired up at oil changes at the dealership. So, even though the metal ones are good enough, I will not order them again.

They haven't interfered with my monitoring system on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit , and expect they wouldn't interfere with any tire pressure monitoring system
