Red Devil0805 Crack Patch Premium Acrylic Spackling, 5.5 Oz. Squeeze Tube, White

I bought this product to patch the holes in the wall caused by the nails and it was fine. The color is slightly off, where the product is white and my walls are beige, but since holes are tiny its not as noticeable. It wasn't runny, I used it with a paint scraper in case I put too much onto the nail hole, but otherwise, it worked out well for me.

This is the best crack filler I have ever used. Easy to apply and work with. I had my first tube for over two years and it never dried out in the tube, was good to the end. Sets quickly with very little shrinkage. I would recommend to anyone doing small repair jobs on walls, etc.

What I like about it: It’s more watery than most fillers. What I hate about it: It’s more watery than most fillers. Comes out of the tube nice and easy, not dry and crusty like the competition....but you definitely need a flat edge to make a clean fill.

We had a floating shelf with kids' books in our nursery. One of my wonderful pulled on it and ripped off the wall. There was a huge quarter size hole in the was (about 2 inches deep). We weren't sure if this stuff will work but we tried it anyway, because this was the cheapest bet. We filled the hole with it and let it dry for 2-3 hours, and it looks great. Maybe it is not good to use as a forever solution but for a rental property this is 100% the best option

I got this to patch up some large nail holes in the closet wall. I could not get this stuff to squeeze out of the tube. I stuck a toothpick down the nozzle to see if it was blocked and it broke the toothpick. I put this tube on my counter and pressed with the heel of my hand and couldn't get it to come out. I cut more of the nozzle off and proceeded to squeeze the tube. The caulk did slowly come out but, broke off, very dry and crumbled into pieces.. Needless to say, I had to throw this in the trash and use some Spackle with putty knife to do the job. I'm not sure if this is the way it is supposed to be or if it's just old. I sure couldn't use it so it was a waste of money.
