i waited a couple months to write this review so I could see how well the necklace cord held up after weeks of constant wear. I bought mine to hold a little pendant someone gifted me; it might be the Buddha on there, but it could just as easily be some guy who delivers mail in Sri Lanka. Either way, it's a cool little pendant and I wanted to put it on something that would hold it securely.This cord works perfectly for that. When it first arrived, it seemed a little stiff and "plastic-y," but even then it *looked* like high quality leather. After a few days it lost most of that stiffness and began feeling more like a genuine leather cord. The only real noticeable difference? This on -- unlike leather -- is waterproof and most everything else-proof as well. After two months, I can't see any signs of wear. And I even sleep/shower/swim with the thing on.I'm guessing that *eventually* it'll wear out and I'll have to replace it. But based on the wear so far, that could be a year or two, or maybe more, away. Finally, the packaging is great and the little starfish mentioned by others is a nice touch. Also, the clasp is pure genius! Very sturdy and secure, but at the same time small and unobtrusive. It really is a nice bit of engineering.Overall, this is a great product for the money.

I was afraid that the leather would break but it hasn’t. It’s very strong. I was afraid it would look cheap but it doesn’t. It looks great. I was afraid it would break but it hasn’t. I wear it all the time, in the shower, when I work out, when I sleep and when I garden. Strong and comfortable, this is the only necklace I ever had that doesn’t snag in the back of my hair.

I have purchased six of these, and I layer them. I get compliments on them every day. A quick way to accessorize any outfit and look amazing.

I've had this necklace for a couple of months now and I've worn it often. So far so good. I like it better than my leather necklace. It's more flexible. The clasp is nice. I don't have any complaints now. 👍

I was looking at neck chains/necklaces, and not needing to spend a great deal, but desirous of something sturdy. I saw this, and was intrigued enough to spend what little was asked for it. In the time I've had it, I've worn it more or less constantly. Thus far, it's been comfortable, and sturdy. I would recommend this as an inexpensive alternative to a necklace or chain.

Smooth clasp design that doesn't catch on anything, the material is a little stiffer than real leather but it suits me fine.
