Artesà Gold Palm Leaf Plate, Cast Aluminium Serving Platter with Gold-Coloured Finish, 33 x 18.5cm

Lovely looking leaf plate, this is actually much nicer than expected. Made of cast(?) metal it has a lovely weight to it and a beatiful dulled gold finish. Plate measures approx 33x18cm at the widest points and has small foam pieces on the base to avoid slipping or surface scratches.Just over £25 (at the time of review) i feel is a bit overpriced for this item but it is a bit different and really lovely quality. Looks fantastic and would make a pleasant gift for a shabby chic decor lover.

Having serving platters or dishes dotted around the house for food or random pocket detritus can be pretty handy. I usually prefer wood of ceramics but thought I'd give his "𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒎 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒇 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅-𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉, 1' ⁶³⁄₆₄"/33ᶜᵐ 𝒙 7⁹⁄₃₂"/18.5ᶜᵐ" by "𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒔à" a wee go. [There is some confusion in the literature as to if this is made of gold plated cast aluminium pr from cast brass...I'd lean towards brass].I was surprised at how this arrived. I though it would come in some sort of box, but this just came in a bag. But being made of cast aluminium with a gold platted surface its tough enough to be delivered this way. The closest plant I can think of is a Monstera [𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘢] [Swiss cheese plant]. This strictly speaking isn't a palm leaf... but my knowledge of tropical plants is somewhat limited.It is 1' ⁶³⁄₆₄"/33ᶜᵐ 𝒙 7⁹⁄₃₂"/18.5ᶜᵐ" in size, made of cast aluminium with a gold plated finish. {I can't say in honesty if the last claim is true, it could just be a gold coloured finish]. On the bottom it has three felt pads to stop it sliding about or marking your tabletops.One of the uses you could put it to is for storing the general pocket detritus we have at the end of the day; keys, small change, lighter, wallet, phone, medication container, sweets...𝘦𝘵𝘤. I keep one on my nightstand for anything that might fall out of my pockets when I hang up the trews or that i'll need the next morning.I'm not using mine for knickknacks but for food serving.Whether you are from a culture that uses such leaves for traditionally serving food, or you just like the aesthetics this leaf platter is nice for things like fruit. dumplings, vegetables, sweets/candy...𝘦𝘵𝘤.It looks good in the centre of a table & is easy to clean up afterwards. You can also use it as a more permanent feature & use it as a fruit bowl.I's currently selling for £21.00 down from its usual price of ̶£̶2̶4̶.̶9̶9̶. For me either price is good as it looks nice & will last a lifetime.

It looks exactly as it appears in its Amazon photos and is true to size. I can't say that it is suitable as a serving platter, but it is more appropriate as decoration. Overall quality is recommendable. I like its colour as it is not too flashy.

A really solid gold leaf..It's largeIt's heavy..It has felt pads on the base as to not scratch anything it sits on..Great for a decorative piece, or to put things in like spoons, or your keys !!It's supposed to be a serving plate, but has multiple uses as it's so pretty !!Definitely recommended and looks more expensive than it actually is !!

The Artesà Gold Palm Leaf Plate is a stunning decorative piece that I have used for displaying fruits. The gold-colored finish is eye-catching and adds a touch of elegance to my dining table. However, it's not very practical for serving food as it's not very deep and can be easily scratched. Additionally, the price is a bit high for what it is. Overall, it's a beautiful decoration piece, but not very practical or affordable.

A very nice and reasonably priced item which has some weight to it. The plating of gold seems to be durable as I have been using it for keys and chucking keys in and out thus far has not led to any issues or degradation which is good to see.Overall price wise £22 is reasonable for what you get so no real complaints.

This is a beautiful plate and the quality of the design and finish are excellent. Very versatile in terms of usage - could be a plate for fruit, sweets, biscuits etc. or it could be used on a bedside table for jewellery and trinkets.

I received this leaf plate for free as part of the Amazon Vine Programme.This is such a beautiful plate! I’ve been using it as a decoration rather than for serving but it does have a great area for snack/little bites to be served on! It has a good weight to it and the gold colour is stunning!
