Yes, as long as they are wired so that they turn off when the main vehicle lights are turned on, so they cannot be on at night time. During the day time they are fine.

Are these pair of lights the 30 degree beam pattern or 60 degree beam pattern?

30 degrees , But at 7 feet up the beam is 12 feet centered. They are 3 times more light and 1/5 the power. Their on the back of my horse trailer WOW. White light --I can live with that.

Is the lens glass or plastic? If plastic, is it acrylic/lucite/plexiglas, polycarbonate/lexan, or ???

It is PMMA acrylic (trade names include Lucite/Plexiglass). Thickness comes it at 0.0800 inches. It is not as scratch resistant as glass but it is 17x more impact resistant. Acrylic is better than polycarbonate because polycarbonate is not UV resistant. No telling who the lens is made by.

Can I wire these right into my headlights??

If you use a relay i would say 100% wire them into your high beams, but don't add to your regular lights as they are bright and you would blind people.
