I purchased these to use when making yogurt and they are excellent for it! (I mix one capsule with 2 tbsp of sugar. Then use a mixture of 2% milk and 1/2 & 1/2 and ferment for 36 hours) I also take one on the days that I don't eat any yogurt. I find that they really help my stomach and help with keeping things "regular" when I take them consistently.

I use this probiotic to make yogurt and it’s perfect.

Can’t really tell a difference and I have to open up the capsules to make my fermented yogurt when the capsules are open, the product seems to be very hard like fillers are used. Can’t tell if it makes a difference or not.

I bought this because of the book "Super Gut." The author explains that this is the only source of this particular strain of probiotic in the US. As the book suggests, I used one of these to start a yogurt culture. It went ok, but then I let the yogurt go bad and needed to start over. It was only a couple of weeks later, but the powder in the capsules had become rock-hard. And I don't live in a humid climate. I broke up the brick of material that came out of the capsule and used it anyway. The yogurt came out super-runny and turned "off" after just a few days. I wrote the company, and their response was "Unfortunately, we can't guarantee the effectiveness of the product if it's used differently than directed, and we sincerely apologize if this causes any inconvenience. We’re here to help,...." Ha! Good one, Mercola Market. You lost my business forever. Most folks who just ingest these "as directed" are probably unaware that they are going bad.

I have only used it twice to make one of the Super Gut recipes. Very satisfied so far. It taste like Pamesan Reggaino cheeze. Will be making more soon.
