Best fizzy drink i've ever tasted
The cream soda with a hint of Raspberry is absolutely fantastic. I used to drink this almost every night when I lived at home in the UK. Since I moved to the US I thought I would never taste it again until I visit home. I'm so happy that I can buy and drink this amazing drink again in the US. Seriously, its so fragrant. Fizzy but so so smooth. I'd even say classy. It's one of those drinks I used to use to impress people with. Pull it out at the end of a good meal instead of a wine (I don't drink alcohol).I hope this retailer continues to sell it for as long as I'm alive because I'll be ordering it every time I run out. Amazon UK stopped selling it so I had to drive to a Waitrose 20 miles away from my house and buy them in 4 packs at inflated prices. Was still worth it.

Good stuff. Sweeter and less spicy than Fever Tree ...
Good stuff. Sweeter and less spicy than Fever Tree but still has a bit of ginger kick.

Way to much sugar, horrible drink
If they used a lot less sugar this might have been a good drink, however there is so much sugar in this drink that it tastes like ginger flavored sugar syrup.Totally horrible drinking experience.46.5 grams of sugar!Over a ounce and a half of sugar and not a gram of salt to balance it out. This is not Ginger beer, it's sugar beer.If you want real ginger beer flavor, avoid Barr's Ginger beer. This will only disappoint you. There are much better brands available.D & G, Soda Ginger Beer, 12-once (24 Pack)

Very sweet and not a lot of ginger
Not a Ginger Beer for the true ginger lover. Very sweet and not a lot of ginger, skip this one.

Good, middle of the road Ginger Beer!
This is a good Ginger Beer. The can speaks to it being "fiery". Well, it had a little heat. What I liked about the GB was that it was not overly sweet so it did not add to the flavours of the drinks I mixed it with. I also tried Cock n Bull, which was considerably more fiery but a little too sweet for mixing although a great GB for a stand alone drink. I liked the price and the flavour so I will order again.I am looking for the hottest GB. So far Fever Tree Premium Ginger Beer has been the hottest. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Great ginger beer
If you've never tried ginger beer, it tastes a lot like a very intense ginger ale. The ginger flavor is simply more pronounced than what you find in ginger ale.Barr's is not so sweet as some of the alternatives, which means you can drink it straight as well as mix it with vodka (Moscow Mule) or rum (Dark and Stormy). We bought a case to mix cocktails at a holiday party and it was a huge hit. Locally, ginger beer sells for at least $12 for a six pack, so getting this product for less than $1 per can was great. We'll buy Barr's from Amazon as often as we can.

Simply tasty ginger beer.
My girlfriend bought a case of this for her housewarming party and had lots left over. Well, onething lead to another and I developed a taste for Barr's. It has a simpler flavor than Reed's, butit is a real ginger beer, much stronger than ginger ale. Makes a nice Dark and Stormy, if youlike that sort of thing.

It's okay in various ways.
Insanely sweet to drink solo, and not many great drinks you can mix with it. I've had some little mixtures I've tried with spirits - since I could not handle drinking one of these straight - and they were okay. Seemed like it was a bad idea to mix with alcohol though, considering how much sugar was contained in the soda itself. I don't consider those energy buzzes, my thing - but if you do, this may suit your needs! It's in no way bad, but it wasn't good either - whether it was a drink, or a mixer.
