Do the strips stick firmly enough to the counter while rolling, or do they shift around?

I have quartz countertops, and the silicone guides stay put very well. Making pie crust and rolled cookies is a lot quicker now.

These measurements can’t be right - no way one of these is over 2 inches. What are the measurements?
