Should this be applied with a brush or cloth?

We used a brush to apply and a cloth to rub it in/off after a few minutes. It's very easy to work with.

Is this considered a gel stain or regular stain?

It's not a gel stain but the consistency is thicker than a regular stain.

Looking to paint hollow doors- Do I need a wood conditioner first? Or will this cover well in 1 coat?

This is not a paint, but rather a stain. If you're looking to cover up defects or anything along those lines this will not work. Yes, it will alter the color of the wood with one use though.

Can this stain be thinned out? If so, with what?

I haven't tried but other reviews indicate the fast drying formula is already thinned out

Nice job

Sizing was smaller but did the job with the wood. Color stands out now and not rusty, made the handles look new. Not heavy and the quality is good and easy to put on without any messes.

A magical blue!

This is a fantastic product. I've used neutral colors before to stain things and have been pleased but the Vintage Aqua is kind of amazing! I saw the color on line and decided to risk it with my pool deck and couldn't be happier with the results. The blue is bright but if you use a light hand when brushing, the wood grain shows through. What's really neat is the color seems to change with the light, so it matches the pool whether it's bright and sunny or twilight. Very happy.

Great color

Exactly the color I wanted. Took a really long time to dry. Over 24 hours and the color was still rubbing off onto my hands when I touched the wood. Used on fir kiln dried lumber.

Nice color

Very nice color. I had to repair a wooden lawn ornament with wood putty, and used this color to make it match my lawn piece. Used a couple coats, and blends in great!

Easy to Apply!
