It works! WiFi throughout the house now!
This is a simple LITTLE (it's quite small) product that solved my issue completely. In my case, the WiFi router was in the basement at the far end of the house, and the other end simply did not get reception. The router has a WPS button and I opted to connect using that - let me reassure anyone who buys this that it DOES take a good while for initial connection, there will be a few moments when you think something has to be broken and it's not going to work - but after about six minutes the lights stabilized on top in the configuration that indicated it had connected. Unplugged it, took it upstairs and plugged it into an outlet. I then went to the end of the house that had no reception and tried my phone to see if it would now get WiFi. IT DID. Streaming YouTube videos played perfectly. Watching a Hulu video on the tablet was no problem. It's been connected for almost a month with zero issues, even after a couple of power outages. It does exactly what it says it will do and does it well.UPDATE on 2/4/2019 - this little device is STILL working like a champ. Really happy with this purchase.UPDATE on 8/15/2020 - it's still working wonderfully. We dropped our cable TV and stream exclusively now, and this device continues to function and makes streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime possible in the far end of this house. One of the best purchases I've ever made, and for so little money.Update on 8/14/2021:Still working! We had a massive electrical storm that caused a couple of power outages and literally reset the router to its default settings (wiped out the SSID and password I was using), plus evidently fried the WPS button because neither this device nor a wireless-enabled printer would connect that way once power returned. Printer got connected via manually typing in the details. I looked up manual for this device and connected it via its web link - and it still works like a charm!

Great little extender
I bought a POS Chinese made range extender to boost my signal to the back of my 30'x40' garage/mancave. Hard to connect and cut the speed way way down. Returned it. I'm running on fiber. My router is a TPLINK Archer C9. I love this router and have had it for 3 years. Have only had to reset it maybe 6 times in 3 years. I've had such good luck with TPLINK I don't know why I didn't buy this extender to begin with. Simply plug it in, log in and enter passwords and name SSID. Press the WPS button, ready to rock. I really like TPLINK products, as I've had good luck with them. My Archer C9 sends a signal over 300 feet from my house (very customizable) so you'd think the back of my garage/mancave would get a signal as its only about 100 feet to the rear from the router. But my roof is metal singled and the garage is close cell foam insulated and there is some interference, thus near the rear of the mancave, the signal drops in and out. Not anymore, as the extender takes care of that problem. My wireless speeds on WiFi with the extender are about 34mb/s down and 25 up. That's plenty for what I use it for in there. Extender is very small and plugs right into an outlet on the bottom plug, so you can still plug something into the top outlet. It has lights on the top that let you know it's powered and receiving a signal. I can't attest to how far the extender will allow you to go as I haven't tested it. But I imagine it's not a crazy distance as the antennas are very small. But it works great for what I use it for.I would like to point out that I am not affiliated with TPLINK in any way. However I give credit where credit is due, and TPLINK so far has been great for me.

Great range without any speed loss.
This was easy to set up and it has excellent range. It pairs well with my Netgear nighthawk R9000 X10. There is just one corner in the upstairs of my house that has a weak signal. I hooked up this range extender and I no longer have any issues. I ran several speed tests and I am getting over the 100 mbs that I pay for. The ping times are slightly higher but that is to be expected when going through an extra connection. The SSID names and passwords stayed the same as what they were on my main router so my devices just connect to the one that has the strongest signal. I knocked off one star because I can't seem to get into the settings anymore. I was able to get into the settings when I initially set it up but once it was I was locked out. If I reset it to default it lets me back in and I can change things and I can still connect it to a different device via the WPA button so it really isn't a big deal.
