I'm an older gal and have had back weakness for a lotta years, I have post polio syndrome....this back brace fits me well, I am 5'3 and weigh 135. The large is a great fit for me, highly recommend this one!

I bought an extra large because I wear a size 12/ 14 in womens pants, my waist is about a 42. After wearing it for a while it does stretch so I could have gotten a large. all and all this really has helped my lower back. I stand all day and by the end of a 12 hour shift my back and right side really hurt., glad i ordered it. the price was great too. Also I can wear it under my uniform and you really cant tell.

This belt is designed to stabilize the Sacroiliac joint that is hypermobile or inflamed, by reducing pelvic, lower back and leg pain caused by SI joint dysfunction.Pain can take such a toll on your physical and mental state. On the second day I helped lift a 68lb. area rug and lay it out, I had no discomfort, my legs had no pain. Usually I would have had to lay down and rest my back. It’s not the cure but it helps to set you up for success.I take it off when I’m sleeping, so first thing in the morning I have pain.Hopefully I can build up that muscle area and not need the belt anymore.

This brace is super useful and has helped a lot with constant lower back pain. The size chart is accurate, though after a lot of constant use, it does stretch out a bit, but you can keep adjusting the band tightness easily. Definitely choose a size after measuring exactly where your back pain is so you know which size will provide the best support. It comes with instructions on how to put on properly, though it's super easy and you will get the hang of it after a try or two. Personally, I even wore it to bed on days where the pain was super severe, but that is personal preference. I hope this helps others' backs like it did to me!
