Easy
Super easy to install. Did it in 5 minutes in my underwear early morning. Didn’t come with instructions but still a no brainer….. I do wish they were able to make these with an ability to plug in and magnetic charge my phone. Then it will be a perfect device.

upside down top plate,
I saw the top plate was installed upside down from factory, so the lip was facing down i put it back the way the pic. showed and now you can lay things on it without falling off,

Looks and functions great!
This is probably the best mobile device holder created for the FJ Cruiser. It is solid and looks, killer. The best part is that you can mount other things to it. I'm planning to put a hook to hang my CB radio and GPS gadgets. Just super cool. The only problem I had was with the phone holder. The side clamps were too shallow to grab hold of my phone because it has a heavy-duty phone case. I'm sure if I change to something less bulky it will work just fine. No issue at all. Love it! It's an FJ thing!
