What type of threads does this use?

It is a bit confusing, the float valve takes a normal 3/4” pipe tread. Not fine thread.

I just bought one because I was interested in the adjustable arm that the plastic one did not have. Looks like these are British pipe threads?

I went to local hardware store and got regular brass fittings and they fit fine.
