Would this work with the denon 3400h?

Careful, IR LEDs (what sends the IR beam) vary. LEDs require current to flow one direction. Hence, if this unit is wired in reverse from what your extender requires, it won't work. IR remotes work by turning the IR light on and off at some rate. If it is doesn't work at the frequency, that's a problem. Finally, some of these have a 3.5mm (earbud size) two conductor cable (as this one). Some have 3 contacts on the 3.5mm connector (compare to mono to stereo for audio versions). Some others come with 2.5mm jacks (smaller). What does your IR sender use?

What is the length of the cable from the emitter head to where the emitter head cables join together?

Hi, the whole cable (3.5mm end to each emitter head end) is about 10ft, suitable for most extending situations. Please check if there is IR port on your device and if its frequency is 38-56Khz before ordering, thank you!
