So, I hope that you are never in a position where you need this because, nothing about this process is fun. It's really easy to experience information overload because, everyone has a different method. I've been told that these are "nice to have but not really necessary." Trust me, you need these. It's an extra barrier of protection and the fact that you can mold the opening to just about any size opening is really important. Yes, they can be pricey but, they are totally worth it. All they need to do is prevent one blowout and you'll be onboard.

These are pretty darn sticky. They are better than one of the big name manufacturers in this space and on par with the perceived leader in this space in my opinion. I have not had a leak while using these. If you do not have good insurance, this is a viable product for consideration. Recommend.(used with Sensura Mio pouch)

I bought these to cut down on cost from the rings I was currently using. They were about half the price. Unfortunately, they do not adhere very well. The seeping through the sides of the rings begins within hours. Usually I get 3-4 days out of my old rings, these new ones only lasted 1-2 days. I tried them several times. One time I had to change the ostomy appliance in less than 24 hours. I was getting a burning sensation all around the edges of my stoma. Using these for several changes produced a terrible rash on my skin due to seepage. I used the rings that I was using before and it adhered for four days, allowing my skin to heal. I tried these rings again and within hours I started to get seepage and burning. So in short, it caused me great discomfort and actually was more expensive as I had to change the complete appliance much more often.

Bought these for my daughter's stoma and we found they are so sticky it's caused her skin to breakdown and become raw and sore. We will be going to another brand.
