Worked as expected.
I like the way they are installed, using the Allen wrench. In the past I’ve used the ones with the slot that you use a flat screwdriver to install. These are a lot nicer to use.

Worked perfectly for me!
I used a 3/8" drill for both Black Walnut and epoxy and these worked perfectly for me.

They Worked Equal to or Better than Expected
Great product. Worked as they should. As a note, as I was setting these units in aged, very hard, dense hickory I was concerned about stripping the hex head. Especially as I was concerned about the treads pulling out of the wood so I drilled the pilot hole for soft wood. To help reduce friction, I applied some bar soap to the external threads prior to threading them into the wood. The inserts went in easily and I had no issues with stripping the hex heads.
