Comparison of Several Insulated Coverall's and Bib Overalls
I ordered a bunch of insulated coveralls and bib overall to compare. I am 6'8" tall wear a 38” inseam. I’m hard to fit. Here is my evaluation of someCarhartt Men's Big & Tall Arctic Quilt Lined Duck Coveralls X01: I wasn’t impressed with the construction of these or the fit. They were baggy in the back and didn’t fit as well as others. The insulation wasn’t as thick as the Carhartt Men's Arctic Quilt Lined Duck Bib Overalls R03. They were high waters as well. The inseam was only 32 I think.Carhartt Men's Arctic Quilt Lined Duck Bib Overalls R03. I liked those much better than the Carhartt coveralls above. The insulation was much thicker. But there were three issues 1) there was no insulation in the bib which made them colder 2) the attachment for the shoulder straps is really hard to hook and 3) the zipper on the legs only goes up to the knee. This made them much harder to put on with shoes. These Carhartts had 36" inseam that was great and fit the best but I decided not to get these for the reasons above.Walls Men's Zero-Zone Duck Insulated Coverall: These fit the best of the coveralls I tried. I liked some features of them but the zipper on the side didn't go all the way up which make it harder to put on with shoes on. Also the insulation on the bottom of the leg didn't go all the way to the bottom. The bottom 6" of the pants don't have insulation in them. But in my opinion they were better than the Carhartts and the Polar King by Key Apparel Premium Insulated Bib Overall.Polar King by Key Apparel Premium Insulated Bib Overall: I liked the construction of the Polar King the best of all of them. They have great pockets but the inseam of it was way too short. It was only 31" even though it was a Large Tall. I would say it is not a tall at all. I wish the legs were longer and I would have purchased it. The crotch was 1/2 way to my knees.Key Apparel Men's Insulated Duck Coverall: I ordered this in the Large Tall. The inseam is only 31” and gave me really high waters. Other than that these were nice. One button fell off right out of the bag. Zipper goes up most of the way up the leg which makes them easier to put on. Have cuffs in the sleave.Dickies Men's Big-Tall Premium Insulated Duck Bib All: I liked these the best. They have zippers going on the legs that go from the waist all the way up or down the side which make them really easy to get on and off. There is a zipper in the front which the Carhartts don’t have. They are also insulated in the bib and the back which make them warmer. I wish they had more pockets but they work. There is a reinforcement patch where you hook your tape measure on the pocket. So I decided to go with Dickie Insulated Bib Overalls as they fit better with at least 34" inseams. I am very happy with them.

Best Dickies around
My husband knows these for work and they are perfect. They're just as good if not better than Carhartt. The material is dependable and sustainable. He's very happy that I purchased them for half the cost that you would get from Carhartt. Like I said they are just as good if not better.

They run a little long
I am 5ft 11inch weigh 220 lbs. I wear 38x32 inch jeans. The XX Large regular wound up being too long and was dragging the ground so I sent them back and got a set marked XX Large Short and they are the right size for me. They still reach the ground over my boots but not excessively. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Great buy
Good thick material, length and fit are true to size chart. Great value for the money but we got them at a discount during a sale. Color has not faded with multiple washings. Kept us warm in the snow!

Overall, good pair of bibs
Had a chance to put these bibs to the test. Fit good, although a little droopy in the groin area. I have a 50” chest and the bibs zipped up with no tightness. Could move my upper body without binding. Leg zippers are great for putting on and taking off my pack boots without removing the bibs. For the test: I have an open cab tractor and plowed snow in 0 degree weather for over 3 hours. I wear a pair of compression thermal bottoms and sweat pants under the bibs. I stayed quite warm sitting on a tractor seat the entire time, with no heat source (neither from my tractor or any battery powered heated clothing). They are durable, kept me warm, Easy to put on, take off, and easy to remove boots with the bibs on. The only negative is that, due to the droopy groin, I would not want to walk long distances in them. For working in the cold, walking moderate distances (1/4 mile or less) or standing in the cold working on farm stuff, can’t beat them, especially for the price.

Get the short one
Like others have stated, thi

Sizing is tricky, but worth the effort. If you ain't well over 6', get a short.
First off - sizing.Male, 5' 11", roughly 205, stocky build. I purchased the XXL Reg. Sent it back; too long (~32" inseam). XXL Short is much better; Inseam is ~30". Seller claims 90% of returns are because the garment is too long. Perhaps they should make sizing data more accessible.I purchased the XXL to fit sweatshirts etc under the bib. There is enough room to fit a heavyweight hoodie, without feeling bound up, even with a OWB holster.Next is features and quality -Pros:- Double ended zipper on the side of the leg, access interior clothing pockets by unzipping a bit from the top. Full-length zipper, plumb up to the hip. Very nice, brass, looks heavy.- Chest pockets are actually usable, the zippers are fit on the inner seam; facing each other. The left pocket is easily accessed with the right hand, etc. Excellent feature.- Insulation is enough, but not too much. Not bulky/arctic stuff. I expect to be working, or at least actively moving when using this work wear, so the level is insulation is adequate.- Front pockets are reinforced at the seam, so clipping a measuring tape or knife there will not destroy the pocket in short order.- Leg bottoms at the back (heel) side are also reinforced to prevent premature wear.- Knees are doubled fabric.Cons:-The only con I can think of is personal preference. I prefer no insulation at the chest; on the 'bib' part itself, as it can lead to me feeling overheated during heavy exertion. This is insulated. Not a deal breaker, as I can unzip the bib if needed. That cost the 5th star. Picky? sure. However, this is my review, and there ain't no perfect anything.I believe these Dickies are very much worth the money. Time will tell if they are as durable as other brands, but after inspecting them I can see no reason to think otherwise.Previously I used Carhartt outerwear. Due to the price, and the recent political activity of that brand, I am no longer spending my money with them. I am happy with the Dickies; I now own these bibs and also an insulated vest.
