Is the light easy to turn on? Do I need to give it a heavy touch?

It isnt touch sensitive and is operated by depressing the light casing. Excellent lamp, lasts number of hours on one charge if on the dimmest setting.

Once you have set the timer, will the light always turn off after that time when turned on, or do you have to set the timer eaxh time your turn it on?

You have to set timer each time you turn it on, the lamp has memory function that once you rotate the shade, it shows the timer you set last time.

Can you fix the auto set off time? Eg to 15 mins? My daughter is 5 and keeps twisting it so that it is on for ages.
