The handle loosens when he flips the knife
The colors are very nice looking, my Grandson loves them.

Not smooth, and too lightweight
Not smooth, and too lightweight. Can't learn on something that doesn't open and close easily, and gets stuck a lot

Good knife bad grasp
Knife is really good and looks amazing. However, the grasp is not that great. It gets in the way and it’s very hard to close up the knife with the grasp. I kinda avoid using these because of this reason due to the complete hassle of the grasp.

Fun
I don't feel a picture is necessary.I have never used a butterfly knife / balisong before, and so I am not familiar with the ease at which the knife transitions. That being said, this does seem to require a bit more effort than it is portrayed in the movies. I ultimately think that is good, because these are more for practice or simply fidget. The "blade" is still pointed in nature, so can be dangerous, but it is a dull "blade", so no concern for cuts. I say "blade" because it looks like a blade, but is a dull, steel component, as well decorated like the handle portion. These are fun and do as they were intended.

Fun & vibrant colors!
Great value for two of these. They are fun to use, good weight, vibrant colors, completely safe. What's not to love? Nothing. The locking mechanism does take a bit of tension squeezing the handles together to lock or unlock them, but that is a good thing as they stay in whatever state (open or closed) you intentionally put them in.

Good value
For a 2 pack, at this price, they're great value. My 16yr old son has been learning to use a balisong, or butterfly knife (self taught) for about a year now, and has gotten pretty good with it. The trainer he had (which was several times more expensive than these) was starting to come apart, so I didn't think it was worth spending the extra money for a more expensive option again. Plus these have a cool paint job. While these appear to be of reasonable quality, there are some difference. First thing I noticed was the difference in the weight. These are noticeably lighter and smaller than his previous one. Because it's double edged, there is no obvious "safe handle", which is important when learning. Plus, it was a little tight, but you can adjust it with a star bit and oil it.Overall, I think these are fine for a younger person who just getting started or not sure how far they'll take it (and the price is great), but if you're serious about it, you might want to look elsewhere.

Looks and feels like the real deal....
If there were sharp edges on these, you wouldn't be able to tell they weren't real. I've had a few of the real ones back in the day. The looks and weight are very similar and so is the movement. At least with these you have practice without worry about getting hurt. Great novelty item to display amongst a knife collection.

Good price. Inexpensive set. Good starter set.
My son uses these dull, practice butterfly knives as sort of a fidget spinner. These look very nice and have a busy pattern on them. They are not quite as nice as the more expensive knives but they are nowhere near the price either. Great starter set for someone to find out if they are interested in butterfly knives.
