The best thing i ever purchased before my surgery. this helps me sleep during tough nights after operation and using to protect my chest from any accidental hit & keeping my side drain in place all the time. still using until I'm healed. i love this pillow.

This pillow served its purpose and I felt protected when my cat came around or when I wanted a hug. On the shortest length the straps fell off my shoulders. The ice pack pockets might have been better if they were connected so that the ice pack could fit in lengthwise to reach my armpit and over mastectomy scar would have been nice. I loved the note of encouragement that was in the package. Very nice touch and I keep it out so I can read it everyday.

Before breast cancer surgery, I learned many patients would benefit from having the items in this bundle as part of their recovery, so I got mine ahead of time in preparation for the ride home. The super padded cross seat belt pillow took all pressure off my incisions, and is now installed in the driver’s seat of my vehicle. The big, soft, supportive and squishy mastectomy pillow has a torso encircling strap, as well as shoulder straps that keep my incisions well protected. It’s like wearing a portable hug! I live in this pillow, because it is not only comfortable but also handy. I’ve used the pockets for my driver’s license, car keys, health care card, parking place ticket, phone, handkerchief - you name it! And the inside pockets nicely hold the gel cold pack. Either set nicely holds the surgical drains lower than my incisions, and lets me tuck the drain lines in if I’m moving around and don’t want to risk catching them on something. The shower lanyard for he surgical drains has been really useful out of the shower, too. Some of my recovery clothing lacks pockets, so the lanyard works to support my drains, often overnight with no problems. I discovered a surprise feature of the big pillow - chest protection from overly enthusiastic pets! If my Australian Shepherd wants to give me one of his super happy “nose missiles,” he would typically launch upwards and firmly plant his front paws on my chest - not a good thing for a double mastectomy patient! But when I’m wearing the pillow, there’s enough padding to protect me from accidental impacts from a flying 55lb happy dog! This bundle has truly helped my post op recovery from my double mastectomy. Anyone facing this surgery would benefit from each piece of equipment. Highly reccommended!

Perfect for mastectomy recovery. Very soft. Convenient pockets for ice packs. Great for in vehicle. A definite must for recovery!

Bastante cómodo, lo use desde que salí del hospital, le puedes ajustar qué tan apretado lo quieres, también lo use para dormir y prevenía que me lastimara sin querer la zona de la mastectomía. Ya después de diez días lo dejé de usar para ara dormir. Mis doctores no habían visto esto, creo que no están muy convencidos pero no hace bingo n daño y a mi si me acomodó.
