Well the original one was a 1998 had no choice but to order a new one since the old one was brittle & a piece of it went through my carb and had my valve stuck open due to the old one being so brittle! I fixed all of that and installed the new part and new air cleaner holds the air cleaner nice and tight I would recommend!
