Doesn’t do anything. Just a sponge, waste of money

It was so effective I couldn't believe what I was seeing!Before using it for the first time, I'd decided to wash one arm with my lufa and bristle scrub brush, and the other with the sponge.My regular lufa worked same as usual. A little dead skin but nothing note worthy. The sponge however removed 3× the dead skin!I then washed the lufa side with the sponge, and it removed even more skin! Keeping with my scientific progress I also used the lufa on the original sponge side. The lufa didn't remove anything more.I'm buying more so my husband and our son can have their own.I want to address the reviews stating that the sponge was damp or solid (hard) upon arrival.99% of ALL sponges sold come damp in the packaging. Take a field trip to any grocery, home supply (aka Bed Bath and Beyond), or pharmacy and you'll find any closed package of any kind of sponge will be soft, and flexible sponges.You will also find sponges with open packaging. Those sponges are hard.If you read the info in this product description it clearly states that your sponge maybe dried out, in which case you need only to soak it in(warm) water for a few minutes.It also says to add cleanser to the spong. You don't need to. Using plain water will exfoliate just as well, maybe even better.One only needs to scrub with a little pressure, making it suitable for all ages and skin types.Bottom line, BEST BATH SPONGE EVER!

Came packaged poorly. The “sponge” was hard like a rock with some gooey substance all over it. Just terrible.

First of all when using this exfoliator you have to soak in the bath for a while and then dry off whatever part of your body you’re going to exfoliate in order for this particular sponge work. Good luck this is not an easy task.
