This digital monocular is a fantastic~ I purchased it as a Father’s Day present for my grand-dad.It came beautifully packaged in a nice looking, printed box. I’ve had very good luck with this brand in the past so this choice was a no-brainer~ he’s wanted one of these for quite some time.He was immediately impressed with its ability to provide Crystal clear viewing results in complete darkness. It’s viewing range is awesome too~ he can see his targets from great distances With amazing magnification abilities.It’s easy to operate~ It took him about a week to get completely comfortable with all of the buttons and functions.Upon initially opening it~ I was immediately impressed with its build construction- it’s solid and designed for outdoor, rugged usage. The monocular is completely waterproof. He’s gotten many videos and pictures in rough weather. Automatically date and time stamped.The battery life is terrific. He only Has to charge it every 3 days or so. It’s gotten a ton of use over the past couple of months and still operating like new.It can hold a memory card with up to 32 GB of storage and he loves that he can use it in German.His footage has become a weekly event for the family to gather and see~ it’s a wonderful experience - Very happy with this purchase- well worth the money!

Took this out on a test run around my neighborhood at night.The good:-IR range seems decent, works out to at least 100m easily-Seems like it's capable of taking decent video if your target isn't moving or adjusting range too muchThe bad:-Much larger than I'd expected it to be-No auto focus, so every time you try to look at anything at a different range, you need to manually adjust it the focus-Poor layout - everything you record will be sideways for some reason, assuming you use the attached hand grips, really bizarre choice- More poor layout - you can't plug the monocular into a PC and put it onto a standard photo tripod at the same time, the tripod mount blocks the USB-C port-No information about how to use it as a webcam (as advertised), even online- Default zoom is too far - it says 1x but it's a very narrow field of view or something, because it looks like everything is at least 2x closer-Digital zoom - worthless on any camera, you're just zooming into a pixellated mess and making it worse- Lots of artifacting on images - this might be my fault, but I tried to take some still shots while braced against trees or signs, and the results looked just as bad on the image at home as they did in-camera, very pixellated, very poor looking
