Better than expected!
I bought them after another nobrand shoes I had finally gave up . I liked those better tho .Size:They fit great , the size is correct for me .Look:They do look extremely good for elegant outfits. Wished I had something similar with rubber soles for other occasions.Comfortable:Great , nothing to complain about for me .Quality/reliability:3 months use and could barley notice wear .But I only wear them inside the club/studio.Do not wear these kind of shoes outside or on dirty floors .

Perfect shoe for beginner or part-time dancer
Runs small so order 1/2 to one full size up. A light, comfortable shoe, perfect for the beginner or novice dancer. The suede bottom makes moving across the floor effortless. A good shoe for a great price.

Good enough for beginners ...
I recently took up ballroom dancing but not sure how committed I am going forward. But since I needed a pair ofdancing shoes, I got these instead of buying more expensive brand right off the bat. The build quality is OK for theprice. It seems a lot of people complained about the fit in other reviews abut them being too tight but for me, these areonly ever so slightly snug for my size 9 and fits OK and are very comfortable to wear. The description says 100% leatherbut I laughed. This thing is all polyurethane, maybe except for the bottom sole, which might be some type of cheapsuede leather.

These shoes are EEE or 4E width.
Overall, the shoes are OK. They have nice soft - almost glove-like leather uppers and rivet reinforced lace holes. They are comfortable and light. Soles are soft suede over a soft thin insole and that extends to the heel. Heels sides are leather wrapped. Suede heel soles are not flat but raised around the edge where the side leather and suede sole overlap. When tapping the back of the heel in some steps the side leather may touch and can be slick on the dance floor (finished, unwaxed oak). There are three things I didn't like about them: 1. The soles are so soft, there is no support at all in the ball of the foot. 2. The uppers are a very wide width. I have size 12EE wide feet and I'd compare them to a EEE or even an 4E width compared to popular walking or athletic shoes. Even with orthotics and a foot bed inserted, the laces pull the sides of the last together so closely they overlap and fold up the lace holes before getting barely tight enough to dance in. 3. The suede heel, depending on the dance step, can be a source of slipping as only the edges contact the floor and the suede covering is a bit short of the corners. Certain dances may require suede heels but I found them almost dangerous for many line dancing steps, especially cross-steps such as cross-rock with a chasse step, weaves, vines, jazz box, cha-cha with a turn, cross-back chasse, and some more advanced or complex cross-turning steps.Value for the money is good based on proper fit. In my case I'd rate them a 2 or 3 since they don't fit as expected.

Excellent value
Excellent for the price. I have worn them to competitions. You should probably buy new laces, though, just in case the laces that come with the shoes break. (The laces have a tendency to break, but what do you expect for $30 ballroom shoes?)

Getting your money's worth
I am taking dance classes ahead of my wedding. I am not a serious or frequent dancer. I bought these shoes to get through my six dance classes because the studio asked us all to wear dance shoes to preserve their dance floors. These get the job done. They are lightweight and seem pliable enough to move in. They are also pretty understated, so folks will have to really be looking to notice I am wearing a special shoe. The price point is reasonable for what I needed. I'll leave another review if I find the shoes don't hold up well over time. The shoe does seem to be snug/run small. However, I think that is more a fact of dance shoes, that they are tighter/more snug than the average dress shoe/tennis shoe.

Shoes broke in less than a month
The heel of the right shoe came off in less than a month. I have been dancing heavily in the last month, but I still expect better quality even for a $30 shoe.Besides this the shoe had a good fit, comfort, and floor grip.

Gret organ shoes
I bought these to use as organ shoes. Organ shoes are 3 times the price. These have a nice soft material on the bottom that allows easy transitions on the pedal keyboard.I got the wrong size initially, but the return went well and I got the larger size quickly.
