This may be the stuff that finally ends this
Update: I’ve stopped putting the bandaid around the toe. Leaving a Band-Aid on all day every day it’s not good for the skin. I literally pulled the skin off the back of my toe. So now I’m doing the hairdryer on it for a few minutes but mostly the cool setting. I still think this is working but it’s gonna take a long timeI have been fighting toenail fungus for 20+ years. I am sure I picked it up showering at college (wear those flip flops kids! I wasn't religious about that) I'm in my early 40s now and I decided it is finally time to end this once and for all. Every summer I would cover my nails with polish but they are just too thick now and look bad even with a color on them.I had asked the dr about this and they said "remove the nail" Oh no no- I want to at least TRY and solve this. So I halfheartedly tried other home remedies, they didn't work and I'll admit I gave up.I finally started watching youtube videos like the toe bro, dr nail nipper, etc. I bought a dremel-type electric file here on amazon and got the nails as thin and as short as possible. Every morning after I shower I dry my feet really good then I put a little dab of this stuff on my toenail. The instructions say to dry it with a hairdryer for 3 minutes! I use the hairdryer but no one can withstand 3 minutes, its way too hot. I use the hairdryer just enough that the gel does seem to thicken up a bit, then I put the bandaid over it. I am putting the stuff all over the nail- concentrating on the bottom cuticle where the new growth will be.It has been about 3 weeks, I THINK this is finally helping. It does seem less yellow and whiter- hopefully getting to the clear stage. I am determined I'm going to be good about this. I imagine it is going to take a few months. I'll post an update. My suggestion is to file the top of the nail down as thin as possible and try and dry it as long as you can stand it with the hairdryer before putting the bandaid on. I think that is the key for me.

It works..give it time.
I have had terrible fungus on my big toe nail on my right foot. My nail was sometimes yellow, sometimes gray and would split and peel in layers and often caused pain.I tried just about everything manufactured out there to get rid of it, including Vick's. Nothing worked. I wear sandals a lot and kept a bandaid over my toenail to hide the ugliness.I finally saw Piggy Paste and figured I would give it a try. I bought a tube of it along with a 100 pack of the heavy duty Amazon Brand bandaids. I applied it for a few days and noticed my nail getting softer. I grabbed a cuticle pusher and cleaned out under the nail after my daily shower. After a few days, I noticed that my nail was a bit loose, so I cut it as short as I could. Every few days, I cut a little more until there was only about 1/4 inch of nail remaining. I actually removed most of my toenail. It was ready and there was no pain.Everyday, I applied Piggy Paste to the nail area and wrapped my toe in a bandaid after a shower. I kept it on 24 hours until I showered the next day and repeated this routine for a few months. You need to apply the paste to the nail and the skin under the nail the best you can. I had no irritation. The new nail has grown out perfect, no fungus at all. I finally got rid of it after Having this fungus for three years. It took six months, but it worked. I am super thrilled. I still haven't used all the material in the tube. It doesn't take much at all.I would rate the product a 10 and the heavy duty bandaids are a 10 as well. They stayed on and came off easily when I wanted to remove them.It takes a while, but it worked for me. I didn't give up.

Started to work
You have to be persistent with using this. It had started to work and I think had almost cleared it up and then I got lazy and it came back again. So gross, but ultimately I had to lose my toenail for it to eventually go away.

Only worked for 3 mo, then nails started getting worse
I had moderate fungal infections on 4 of my largest toenails, at first the product seemed to be worker and the cracked appearance of the toenails and yellowish color improved, I also wanted to note that if you have prominent cuticles, they tend to fall off and then be reduced in size when using this product. I was applying this product daily to all toenails, focusing on getting the gel near the base of the nail. I used this product without band aids (as it honestly seems super wasteful to me to use 10 band aids a day as recommended), and I was letting the gel sit for at least 2 hrs and often over 4hrs while wearing sandals before putting on socks or normal shoes. After about 3+ months of positive benefits I then noticed some of my toenails started getting thick again and yellowing, and in the end two of my nails actually looked thicker and more yellow than when I started. I'm not sure if the potency of the active ingredient in the formula degraded over time or if the fungus developed resistance to it, but either way I was disappointed that it quickly stopped working as I know toenail treatments often take over a year to really have notable effects as you grow out your old nails.

Worked for me
This is the best I've found, but still, it takes a long, long time. I've used most everything there is I think. This is the only product that worked for me. Be patient. Re-apply again every morning, cover toenail with bandage. Be persistent. It takes a long, long time.
