King Mattress Bag for Moving Storage, 5 Mil Heavy Duty Mattress Cover, Thick and Tear Resistant (King)

Definitely get a second person holy crap. I did this by myself. If you’re doing it by yourself, have a wall to push it into when you start trying to roll it definitely get a second person. It worked as it should it worked very awesome. As far as the straps you had to push down on the mattress, roll a bit to start cinching the strap, but once it started, it was awesome. It strapped really well. this was a king size 13 inch memory foam. I did have to take the bag off once and turn it before I got it to fit to where the Ziploc whould strap effortlessly.

I have a 10” full size bed hybrid mattress & 3”emory foam topper with a dust/bug cover. After moving, we did not have the space to set up this bed, but it was relatively new and very comfortable. I wanted to keep it, but space was an issue. In the search for a waterproof storage bag (so I could store in my shed safely) I noticed these were an option. I was hesitant for two reasons. 1. My mattress is a hybrid with some springs and 2. The rating was not as high as I normally like to see. I decided it was worth a shot given when I originally bought the mattress it came in a vacuum sealed bag and worst case I figured it would be just as good as the normal storage bags without vacuum sealing if it didn’t seal well.How did it turn out? All I can say is WOW! This turned 13” into 3” thick that (with some elbow grease) I rolled up and measured a diameter of 13”. That’s right. It is now only 18% of its original size. The best part, in its current form I can store it in the attic instead of outside in the shed. I don’t normally write reviews, but this truly blew me away and I wanted to help someone who might be hesitant like I was. After using it I can’t believe the price. I would’ve expected this to cost twice what it did for how it performed.Overall, relatively seamless process. I did it all myself and it took 30-45 minutes, but only half of that was actively working on it. A few recommendations if you purchase…1. The bag is thick plastic and durable, but be careful when sealing and moving. It definitely could tear. I wasn’t very careful and noticed a scratch on the bag after dragging it in a hardwood floor that worried me. Luckily it didn’t cause an issue.2. I recommend a good vacuum since it requires a lot to compress, but be careful. You will want to turn the vacuum off periodically to let it cool down. I wasn’t very careful able to rest the hose down and let it run while I did other things, but turned it off a few times before I finished. I took that time to walk around the high spots and get it more even.3. If there is one part and extra set of hands would help with it is rolling. I did it solo, but I spent 3 years of my career working on pools and rolling covers up after the winter. This was very similar.Don’t let the low price and reviews worry you. All you need is some patience and a strong set of arms to use it. This product is a lifesaver!

I have a thick mattress topper that I use for a pull out bed. This is basically a ziplock bag to hold that, that also can compress to save space. It works as I need it to, but it did get a tear the first time I opened it even though I was just on a clean carpet. Not sure where the tear came from, but it still functions enough that I’ll keep using it.

Absolutely amazing! I never write reviews but this deserved it! I had serious doubts it would work. I bought a nova foam 14 inch hybrid queen size mattress at costco & didn't like. I don't own a truck wasn't sure how I could return?.....whola!! This mattress bag and our shop vac..shrunk it down to almost the size when purchased! We were able to fold it and get in our SUV for return. Even the folks at Costco were impressed on how we got it back to purchase size! Lol. This bag did the job and did it well. I highly reccomend. Only down side is it really does take 2 people. One to lay on while the other hold vaccum hose. You get alot more air out if you lay and move around slowly pushing down, like deflating a beach raft. Ok this product works very well!!! The side opening of the bag makes it very easy to insert the mattress. The zipper part is SUPER STRONG and durable and has a visual indicator to let you know if the bag is sealed. It does take a while to collapse if your mattress is smaller. But over all Super happy with this product.

It does take a while to suck up but it got my full size mattress pretty flat. I recommend rolling or sitting on the mattress (carefully to not rip the bag) to give it some help getting the air out. After it was basically flat I used the black straps and some bungee cords for extra protection, loaded it up and drove 4 hours and the thing stayed tucked until I let it out. Super easy to transport once it’s rolled up. Overall recommend this one for the price and protection it gave because I’ve used plenty others that rip before it’s even been fully sucked up.

We vacuum-seales our foam mattress for 2 hours, and it never got close to as flat as advertised. It ultimately worked, but it was twice the size we expected. The bag tears really easily though, and it ripped (and started inflating again) sometimes during our move. The straps stayed secure and prevented it from inflating too big, thankfully.Technically it worked, but this was an overall mediocre product. I'm only giving 3 stars instead of 2 because we did successfully get the mattress across the country using it.

This was very easy to use and I was able to pack up my mattress topper by myself without help. It definitely made moving easier and saved space. I only had two problems. #1 the straps didn't have enough velcro. I had to strap each of them around the mattress twice before I could connect the velcro pieces. With a bigger mattress I don't think this would be a problem. #2 the compression didn't seem to hold (maybe because of how i strapped it??) . By the time I got to my destination (crossing two states) the mattress was beginning to expand again. For me it was not a huge problem, but if you're using anything larger than a mattress topper I could see this causing problems.Pictures show the double strapping and matress at the end of the trip.
