Tuff stuff
Great stuff, almost as good as steel when it completely dries. I used it on a tractor oil pan hole. It has held for 2 years now. Great stuff!

Amazing product!
This stuff is amazing. I was able to fix a broken concrete birdbath and also a huge clay flower pot with this product. Make sure to follow directions…which are easy but important. It’s also paintable and hold strong!!

Great Value
The Rectorseal Epoxy Putty is a good value. For a reasonable price you get substantially more putty than competing brands of epoxy putty. It comes in a long cylindrical plastic tube that is resealable, and once opened, I have been able to keep the remainder of the putty fresh for many months of use into the future. The putty is simple to use. Just use your fingers to blend the two epoxy parts together but use gloves while doing this. Seems to work fine and on par with other brands that I have used in the past but at much higher prices. The Rectorseal Epoxy Putty may be one of the better deals out there.

Why I didn’t give it five stars
It’s an excellent product — I’ve bought it before, and expect to buy it again —, but the packaging (this time around] . was defective. Of the five tubes in my order, four arrived with one cap off of their storage tubes: leaving them loose and rattling around in the packing envelope. Fortunately, they didn’t leak — but they could have leaked very easily. That problem has existed with every single order that I have ever placed for this product. At least one tube arrives with the cap missing and/or the product loose.

Great all around repair epoxy
Great epoxy to carry in your toolbox. Just slice off the amount you need and roll it around until it mixes. Push it on the repair spot and it will cure shortly afterward. Drives very hard and rigid, brittle if it's thin. Very strong if it's not too thin.

Waste of time and money
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I followed the directions and I applied this to a chipped cup (a very small chip) a day after receiving and it has been been 5 days and it still has not dried. It doesnt dry in 15-20mins. I'm going to attempt to dry it with me heat gun but at this point it it seems useless and a waste of money of if it can't dry on its own.Edit: I'm pretty sure I received clay. It never dried on its own. I had to use my heat gun on it to dry it and it crumbled off after only a minute of consistent movement over the area.

Not as good as the major brand, but OK
Original Review at 2 Stars: I have always used the JB brand, I gave this a try since it seemed like a much better value. The core is barely darker than the outside, so it is much harder to tell when is is thoroughly blended. The other brand is black in middle, and light grey on outside, so much easier to tell. I blended the heck out of it and still it took a much longer time to fully cure, and boy does it stick to your gloves while working it! I will go back to using the JB brand and pay the extra money for a superior product.Updated review at 3 Stars; This went on sale for a really good price so I gave it another try, this batch worked better than my previous batch. It is still not as good as the "popular" brand, but it works. If you can grab it on sale it represents a good value. It still takes much longer that other brand to cure and stinks pretty bad while curing.
