These look cool but I found that with all canvas shoes there is so much rubbing between the heel and your socks that these just aren't comfortable for wearing all day or for long walks - you get blisters or worn socks or both. There also isn't as much cushioning in the sole as you'd get from a trainer. I've decided to get rid of all of my canvas shoes and won't be buying anymore, will stick to trainers.

These shoes are FAKE FAKE FAKE. No debate. I ordered these shoes (size 8.5) from Amazon after ordering the "exact" same shoes too large (size 9) from Vans - I wanted them to take on holiday and these shoes had next day delivery and a lower price so win-win right?? No. As soon as I opened the box, the quality was so evidently different between the two pairs it was almost funny. The fakes are made from poorer materials, stuck together with glue and don't fit well or support the feet. differences include: different check pattern; faded checkerboard; made in Vietnam (fake) Vs Cambodia (real); poor stitching; different black stripe and white platform; indents on inner sole; and different boxes. I would have just risked it and kept them but they probably would have fallen apart in weeks. Having said that, without the two shoes to compare, it would have been hard to see any difference other than the indent on the sole but the quality and fit is undoubtedly worse.Moral of story: don't buy from a third party, buy from the acc store, and don't be attracted by a lower price.

FAKE VANS! Fake products confirmed vans official sellers. It is poor and cheaply made replica. Glues here and there, sole comes off, even materials different. Waste of time, lost of trust to Amazon platform.

Absolutely brilliant. Perfect fit. Exceptional comfort and quality, and the checkerboard design is a great twist on the classic black.Bought as a gift for my friend to replace his old pair, he was delighted.His previous pair were the same type, only in plain black. They lasted just over 3 years before they started to split a bit.Definitely recommend.

Absolutely brilliant bargain !! These are about £65 on the Vans store . I decided to go half a size up at my daughter has size 7 and they were a little snug for me . Had loads of compliments on them . My advice is half a size up ( worked great for me )
