no, instead you can easily remove the filters behind the lid and clean. Nothing else needs cleaning.

Does this have reverse tumble?

No but doesn’t seem to bunch clothes up. Very good results. Build quality very good too.

Is this suitable for a first floor flat? It will be put under the kitchen window, will it need to drain water?
