Caliart acrylic paints have a good consistency for Mandala dotting. They come in a variety of colors, including pastels and metallics. I give four stars because the bottles are very hard to reopen after using them a couple times. I keep a large wrench on my desk to help me open certain bottles. The cap is very hard on my hands and I don't have a strong enough grip to open these easily. But I love the paint itself. It's very easy to use with dotting tools. Dotting requires the paint be solid enough to only need one dot. Some of these colors are a little too sheer and it takes several dots set one on top of another to achieve a good solid color; which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of five. The price for Caliart is great so the little issues aren't bad. I'll be buying this one again when the bottles get too low for sure.

The color and vibrancy was great. Excited to try it out on my art projects!! My only struggle was taking the protective lid off since it stuck to the opening (glue residue leftover) and made paint splatter everywhere.
