Lies, scandal and betrayals! A great read!
Are celebrities rights any different because they are famous and put themselves in the public eye? In a world of social media and instantaneous sharing, there is no chance of hiding. Nudes by Sarah Robinson is a story about fame, privacy and romance.Aria Rose is making a name for herself. After working hard to get her name out there, she finally has the role that can make or break her. And she knows she’s got this! The last thing she needs is a man. Especially a man in the business, a man that is technically her boss.Ben Lawson was burned once and it nearly destroyed him. Never again. After his now ex-wife nearly ruined him, he is determined to show everyone he is not easily deterred. He is determined to make a success of the studio he is now running. Nothing will get in his way.I loved Aria and Ben. They were both such likeable characters. Though both were weary due to previous relationships, they were open with each other. And together they were hot and steamy. Their romance was a bit on the insta-love side but the author did a good job flowing it into the story.Nudes has a touch of the forbidden, as Aria is working on a film under the studio Ben Lawson is now running. But they feel an instant attraction neither can deny. Though they try and fight it, they can’t stay away from each other. They decide to keep it quiet and stay under the radar. But when nude photos of Aria are leaked, all hell breaks loose.I really enjoyed this story. Though Aria and Ben are famous, at the end of the day they are just two people. After the photos are leaked, they must find a way to move forward and wade through the lies and duplicity. The scandal rocks their world and Aria’s character is questioned.Ben and Aria’s journey is full of heartache, lies and scandal. Sarah Robinson did an outstanding job showing her readers the world of the rich and famous and how vulnerable they can really be. I loved the strength Aria showed throughout the story and even during their toughest moments, you just cheered for Ben and Aria.I give Nudes by Sarah Robinson 4-stars!Happy reading!

"Dear Humans, We Can Do Better."
This novel is simply brilliant. One of the most powerful stories I’ve ever read and I can’t recommend it enough. The heroine of the story is strong, beautiful, and talented. She knows who she is and loves herself, despite her flaws. It’s very refreshing to read about a heroine who knows her worth and will fight for herself. The author couldn’t have made her character any more inspiring. Aria was wise beyond her years and she taught me many lessons in this book.“I’m not sure it’s as rare as it is a choice, a commitment, and the strength to follow through each and every day…but they made a decision that this was the love they wanted, this was the life they wanted, and in that choice comes a confidence, a happiness, that most people deny themselves.”I also love how the author made the hero of the story, Ben, love Aria without trying to change her. It was her strength, her confidence that drew him to her and instead of wanting to alter, or diminish her light, he wanted to help her thrive and keep shining. He made a mistake, no doubt about it, but he loves Aria and he proved to her that, time and time again. I adore his character! ❤“Ben had been on an airplane dozens of times, but this was the first slight he hoped never landed. He could stay floating in the clouds with Aria pressed against him forever.”I’ve read several novels by Sarah Robinson in the past, but Nudes is without a doubt my favorite piece of writing she has ever done. I’ve been hearing about this book for months and months and couldn’t be more excited to get my hands on a copy of this beautiful book. The author promised us that this book would blow our minds and send a powerful message–that this wasn’t a story she wanted to tell–rather, it was a story she needed to tell. And, after reading the whole book, I can see that she was right. This story needed to be told and I’m so proud that the author–despite the discouragement of others in the beginning–decided to tell Aria’s story, so I applaud the author and her bravery. Her words have opened up my eyes. This book isn’t just about women empowerment, although it’s a huge theme of the story, it’s also a story about how we, as humans, hurt each other with our hate and careless words. The book touches on subjects like cyber-bullying, double standards, and prejudgment. This book will empower and make you think. It’ll make you want to be a better person and it’ll open your eyes to the harsh reality we live in and how we can make a change by just being kind to one another and standing up for our fellow humans. Because we are all humans and “we are all the same when we are nude.” I simply love that quote and the meaning behind it. The ending of this novel was done so perfectly, I bawled my eyes out and needed a moment to breath and just feel. The message in the ending scene was breathtaking, meaningful, and is something I wish Hollywood will take notice of. Well done. Just well done. Please read this novel. I promise, although it talks about some tough topics, it doesn’t shove any beliefs down your throat. This is a book about how we, as humans, can do better in this hate filled word. And what better way to show this than through a beautiful love story, where the heroine is strong and the hero doesn’t try to diminish that light. If you love romances with a strong female lead, a swoon-worthy hero, and a powerful message, this book is for you. Even if you don’t like romances, I still suggest you read this book because this book is more than a love story.“Dear Humans, We Can Do Better.”

Loved Aria and Ben!
NUDES is the first book I've read by Sarah Robinson, but it certainly won't be the only one.I'll be honest, I was a bit thrown off by the premise of this book at first. I had seen a teaser by the author that made it sound like it was going to glorify sexual harassment. Then I saw a review on GR from someone who hadn't even read it that made me think what I had deciphered from the teaser was true. That being said, it didn't stop me from giving the book a chance. AND the book is NOTHING like what I thought it would be, or what the person who hasn't read it thinks.NUDES follows the life of a new actress named Aria Rose and Ben Lawson, the CEO of the production company where she just filmed her first movie. With an agreement to be free agents for one weekend together, they both end up with much more than they bargained for.NUDES is told in third person, past tense. This is very different to me, but it didn't bother me. This POV still allows for the story to be about both characters, with a few thoughts of theirs thrown in to really encompass how they're feeling.Overall, I enjoyed the storyline. I'm glad to see that it wasn't what I thought it would be and that I felt connected to the characters and their relationship. I loved the bond between Aria and her mother, as well as her connection to other side characters. I think Steele and Travis were my favorites.I'm excited to read the next installment in this series, BARE, which will be about Aria's younger sister. I'm hoping that characters from NUDES will make an appearance.***edited to add, I forgot one of the most important things. Sarah uses her voice as an author to advocate for victims of sexual harassment, discrimination, and shaming not only in Hollywood, but society as a whole. This was probably one of my favorite moments of the entire story.

I loved the message behind the story
I really like Sarah Robinson's books and I was intrigued by the blurb for Nudes, it being a little different from Ms R's previous stories. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was a good read.I loved the message behind the story, it's a very real and sad fact of current life - and not just in Hollywood.Ben and Aria had a pretty instant connection regardless of the fact that neither were looking for a relationship having both been recently burned. I liked how they were together but would have enjoyed a more of a build up in their relationship and gods, what is it with crossed wires and lack of communication?!? (that's a bit of a bug bear with me in stories even though I know it's necessary at times)As I said, the story was a good read and one I would recommend but, for me, it was a short read (it only took me a few hours to finish) and I felt there was a little something missing - I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly, but a touch more depth would, again for me, have made this a great read!I'm giving Nudes 3.75*.

A refreshingly different angle
Hollywood glitz, a young and upcoming actress who reputation ends in tatters due to jealousy from thd producer and careless actions by the studio exec. But a blinding rebound on the very topical subjects of social media bullying and the old studio couch. Beautifully handled.

4.5⭐ A Powerful, Thought Provoking & Interesting Story
Nudes was a powerful, interesting, and thought provoking story. That pulled me in from the start and never let go. And left a very positive and strong message with me, long after I finished reading it. And if the romance between Ben and Aria had just been developed a little more. I would of easily given this book five stars. But nevertheless I enjoyed reading Nudes a lot, and am certainly looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Cruel exposure
Ben was married to an actress & doesn't want to repeat his mistake again. Aria is an up & coming actress & works for his studio. Both don't have time for relationships but there is an undeniable chemistry between them. What initially starts out to scratch that itch becomes more. However they both have to deal with the reality of Hollywood fame. Someone is out there to make them both fail & it's quite a bit of a journey to overcome that. An enjoyable combustible read.
