Perfect for my betta fish tank . The plants are thriving and his fins are looking luscious💛

I didn’t rise before because I wanted to keep all that good stuff. I did let it cycle for about 2 hours before I put my betta back in his tank.

I've always used Fluval Stratum in a semihydro setup for propping/ rooting plants of all kinds (philodendron, pothos, monstera, but especially alocasia corms). This blue label is more dusty than the red label, though, so I am trying to stick with the red label. Definitely the only Stratum brand I'll ever buy

This is great for planting and is very nice in the tank. If you pour your water in slowly, you do not have to worry about it dusting up and making your tank appear dirty, but I suggest not washing it as that can eliminate the bacteria that makes this product so expensive. This is my first time using this stuff and so far I like it! I will say it is hard to plant in, things like to float out of it. You either need something to top it like sand or a very deep layer. Have to be careful not to stir it up, will make your water cloudy.So far my plants are loving it though!!

The media could not be loaded. Great size for a great price. Will be using for my plants as well as future fish tank projects. Came packaged well and has nutrients that will be beneficial for my plants.
