Great Growler
I really like this product! They work exceptionally well at keeping beer cold, fresh, and carbonated as opposed to regular glass growlers. I currently own a DrinkTanks Insulated Growler and couldn't be happier. Upon receiving it as soon as I saw the packaging I thought this can't be good and sure enough it was damaged. Overall a bad experience due to inadequate shipping material and packaging but I'll be receiving a replacement sometime soon.

Keeps drinks cold. For a long, long time. And it looks good while doing it.
This thing is, in a word, a BEAST.What sets it apart from other growlers, you ask? Two things: the swingtop lid and the awesome handle. Swingtop lids have been used to cap beers for a long time, and [typo correction] for good reason — they allow for an airtight seal that screwed-on caps can’t compete with. And the handle feels about as solid as one could hope for.Of course, these attributes would be immaterial if the growler couldn’t keep beverages cool. But rest assured, it’s kept my craft beer (these are brewery-friendly, depending on your local laws) icy cold for hours on end.Pro tip: before you visit the brewery (or before you fill it with water/iced tea/jungle juice) pop off the lid and place the growler in your fridge for a few hours. This will add hours to your beverage’s lifespan.

The microbreweries are exploding in our area and we hit up of favorite spots on most weekends to fill up a couple of growlers. We purchased a couple of 64oz and one 128oz Drink Tank after doing an embarrassing amount of research. What sold us on the Drink Tank was the handle, the cap style, the keg cap, and the promise of holding up to the abuse these things would undoubtedly be taking. So far it's held up well on all fronts with the exception of the keg cap (reviewed separately). Are these things over-priced? That's subjective, but we would say "Oh hell yeah!" None-the-less we're happy enough with our purchase to give these five stars.

I just received my 64oz tank and before I use it I do have a question. On the metal band for the grip has permant marker marking that can only describe as possible hybrid of Cantonese and Japanese. Overall just wondering if I got an official product and not a bootleg.

Overpriced and cheap plastic handle
Ok growler, definitely not worth the selling price. Worth about half of the selling price. Looks good but cheap plastic handle prevent this from bring the premium price they are asking.

My 2nd buy !
Back for another DrinkTank because I lost my other one. Didn’t realize how much I actually depended on the drink tank for my water intake until I lost it. Keeping it around me helps me stay on top of drinking 64oz water a day. Extremely well made.

Preliminarily, the best growlers I've had the pleasure of using.
I've only had these for about a week, but after two uses I'd say these are the best growlers I've ever encountered. In basic form, these are at least as good as any other growler but I'd argue better. The seal is almost certainly slightly less adept at forming a seal then the classic glass bottle with a rubber grommet however, it easily outmatches screw tops. The keg top, DrinkTanks Keg Cap Accessory Kit , really makes it stellar. The ability to keep beer reasonably well carbonated for more than 48 hours with sporadic tapping is impressive in that the degradation in bubbles is hard to detect; provided: you consume at least 4 to 6 oz first, and carbonate after every tap at first then whenever the tap becomes slow, and carbonate with a light touch stopping whenever gas escapes. Perhaps needless to say that screw caps need to be opened in 48 hours and consumed with several hours thereafter while glass might keep bottled for 48 but still needs to be consumed several hours after opening. The Grower with the cap allows leisurely consumption over several days (Half a beer now, another in 4 hours, 2 more the next day, and more depending on your pours and you're willingness to carbonize). The double wall insulation is great, no exterior sweat, no reheating and cooling of the beer losing carbonation, and 100% opacity to light. These are fantastic advantages. Stays cool for the transport and remains near equilibrium in the fridge (after 48 hours a capped bottle was more cellar temperature than refrigerator temperature). Additionally, I prechill the interior with ice & water to ensure the product (beer) doesn't absorb heat from the growler. Double wall insulation decreases over the years, because space abhors a vacuum, but from experiences with other double walled insulators, they still work quite well for 6 months to several years depending on manufacturing quality and then reach a baseline that is about 40% less than when the vacuum was in place but still quite decent (I'll keep this review up to date).I love the stainless steel, seems to be of hardy construction. I personally believe you shouldn't own kitchenware that couldn't be used as a weapon in a pinch (that is, it can take a senseless beating in the trunk or being carelessly dropped). I predict the failure point will be the swing arms or plastic top and in particular the grooves at their interaction point. I'm reasonably certain this won't last more than a year or two of heavy use... but we shall see. The handle seems very sturdy and, as an owner and user for one week, I am pleased. The space in the handle is kind of annoying if only because that's where breweries seem to want to tie on their labels and the strings get caught in the space between the metal belt holding the growler body and the fastening point on the injection plastic.I had my grommet sealed glass growler for 10 years before it broke (due to a small child) and it outperformed every screw top out there in carbonation. While I'm not sure the Drink Tanks growler will out perform it by itself in that regard the fact that I don't have to, and won't at all, treat this growler like a delicate baby means, with the insulation, these are a bargain at twice the price. In this age, you're a fool to buy screw top glass growlers, and I only bought this insulated one because the 64oz plus grommet sealed glass containers are difficult to acquire (I bought the last of a production line 10 years ago). Now, mix the sealing ability of a grommet with a steel double wall insulated growler at less than this price and there would be competition. But as I see it, this is the only growler on the market that performs at the minimum required level. And to DrinkTanks: Well done, but work on your seal. The grommet has been around for more than 70 years, you can do better. If you can't beat the seal of a crush grommet with your system you're either trying to hard or not hard enough. I'd be happy if you just replicated it... and kept the keg functionality.

Craft Beer Stays Fresh
After getting a DrinkTank as a gift, I jumped on Amazon & bought a second. This is a great product that’s easy to use & easier to clean & keep clean. I like trying craft beers and sharing great beers so the DrinkTank is the best way to keep it cold & fresh and safer to transport than the glass jugs. I would recommend investing in this product!
