Would this power a Nintendo Switch please?

In theory, the 335 Powerbank can power a Nintendo Switch.

Is the always on facility automatic or does it require some kind of selection switch?

There is a button to press to activate the power bank. It is not always on automatic.

Does this charge an IPhone 7 Plus?

With the right cable you can charge any phone from this battery.I use it for an iPad with USB C cable and an IPhone 13pro max and it works great! Charges it twice over.

How is power bank charged? only into the type c connection?

Power Bank has USB C and USB A. USB C will charge the power bank considerably faster than that via USB A.
