I'm not a doctor or an athlete, but these seemed to work well on a multi day motorcycle trip. I drank my usual (while motorcycling) 3 liters of water per day, but I didn't have to stop and dis-hydrate as frequently as I did last year. They also seem to help prevent hangover headaches, not that I've really put them through any rigorous testing in that regard, but they seem to help.The taste is a bit over the top, like a sour patch kid candy. I guess they are sour to cover the taste of salt, and sweet to make the sour tolerable. The packaging says they work better if you chew them thoroughly, but I need to wash them down pretty quickly. I think I'd prefer it to just taste like electrolyte salts. Fortunately it has no lingering aftertaste, like aspartame or stevia.As others have said, the little dispenser is handy for keeping in a pocket. They should include one per bottle instead of one per order. Not a real big deal though since I'll probably reorder these.

Great flavor and nice to have another way to increase salt intake on a run! Well worth it and makes a world of difference when you are sweating buckets in a humid or hot area.

These transport well in their original packaging, but also pack well into the generic small cylinder pop-top, plastic canisters, which makes them a bit easier to dispense during a run without stopping. They are very salty, as they should be, with a lime flavor that is pleasant. I drink at least 4 ounces of water during/after chewing them up to ensure they are effectively rinsed out of my mouth to prevent the otherwise yuck that is inherent in any salt chew.

I purchase these often. They are like Gatorade in the form of a chewable tablet. I get dehydrated easily and rely on these in the summer months. It's great that you don't need water to take them. I love all the flavors. Watermelon and Lemon Lime are my favorites.

My kids favor the orange flavor. The lemon is too tart for them. It’s not their favorite but they seem to not complain too much taking them. Seems to work well for both my kids who play sports in heat many times a week. Much better alternative to color and full of sugar “sports” drinks or more natural electrolyte powders wit Her stevia my kids refuse to drink.

We take up to 3 per day or our muscles cramp!!! Yikes we also add salt.

Use these before, during and after a run. I love them. They are easy to carry along especially during a race. They keep me running to the finish line.
