Love the reel so far. For what it costs it is actually much nicer than I was expecting. Took it apart to see what it’s made of. Drag system is straight forward and easy to service, along with the rest of the reel. Cast main gear, brass pinion, steel shaft. Pretty typical arrangement. Material quality (edges, finish etc) was much nicer than I would have expected. Machining and casting clearances are pretty good. Features are on par with any branded reel you could buy at this price range, probably better. Looks great! I like all the aluminum. The non used handle side cap comes with a decent silicon washer. The only thing I’d love to see on this model would be a gasket between Casing halves. And a true snap ring that holds on the pinion guide sleeve for the spool (tho metal ring that is in there works fine, but will hinder service time in the future) great setup. And one of the nicest ones in its price class. Point me in the direction of a nicer 70 dollar spinning reel in a 6000 size.. I’ll wait. Also included a picture for size reference with a spin spin fisher live liner 6500. So sizing is also not an issue, about exactly what you should expect. I’ll write an update after I’ve had a chance to catch some fish on it.

I didn’t like that new reel was making sound when I was Reeling 2 lb fish I had Use lubricants on a new item and i was use for right hand while information given about both hands so I don’t know what else to say !
