Flyboo Olive Oil Dispenser 25oz Oil Bottle Stainless Steel Leak Proof Olive Oil Decanter for Kitchen

The fatal flaw of oil dispenser is that the gasket in the cap does not seal properly. As a result it leaks oil every time I used it. I am uploading three pictures to describe the basic problem.First picture shows the gasket inside the cap is fully oil-slick - a sign of not having adequate sealing.Second and third pictures show how it leaks around the gasket after using the dispenser for cooking.I have tightened enough to make it sure it does not leak, but I was not successful.I bought two dispensers of this brand - one for olive oil and another for avocado oil. Olive oil is comparatively thicker, hence it leaks slowly. But avocado oil is thinner, it leaks profusely.Update: Eventually I contacted the seller for leaking problem. They mentioned that there is supposed to be a white silicone washer inside the dispenser cap, as shown in the fourth picture. But silicone washers are missing both the dispensers I received. They agreed to send me new dispensers, replacing defective twos I received. So I am upgrading my review to four stars for the customer support I received so far.As additional note, it would be great if manufacturer mention about the existence of silicone washer in their product documentation, so that customer can check it upon receiving the product. I haven't received the replaced dispensers yet. But looking at the picture (sent by Flyboo customer support), it looks like a simple washer - prone to falling off. I noticed multiple customers are having same leaking problem. Product documentation would have helped to take corrective action.

I love this oil dispenser. I got this dispense and immediately filled it up with olive oil. The opening is big, so I don't need to use a funnel. I've used the dispenser for about a week now. The stream of liquid is nice and steady, with no drips. The stainless steel is sturdy enough so I don't have to worry about breaking it. It also protects my olive oil from direct light.

NO MORE DRIPS to clean up! I have arthritis in my hands and the wideness of this bottle makes it easer to grasp. I put a few rubber bands around it to make it even easier. The metal is opaque which means no light is getting to the olive oil. The lid keeps flies/dust away from the spout. It DOESN'T DRIP! (Can you tell I like that part? lol)Now, if only they had different colored caps I could use one of these dispensers for each of the different oils at my house. As it is, I may have to get more of these and use different colored rubber bands to help me differentiate the different oils that are inside.Man it's nice not to have drips to clean up.

I purchased this oil/vinegar dispenser last July. It did it’s job until the bottle rusted through on the bottom of the bottle. That makes me question if the bottle is actually Stainless Steel..? Would not recommend this product. I expected it to last longer than a little bit over a year.

After breaking 2 glass olive oil bottles in the past, I went with this stainless steel version. Good quality, easy to pour. You just have to be careful you position the bottle so the air hole is on the top so it does not leak. Has a wide opening that makes refilling easier than the glass bottles.My only regret is not buying the larger version. This size is ok, but I use olive oil for most frying so I need to refill more often that if I had bought the larger version.

This stainless steel receptacle is just what I was looking for. The plastic spout is sturdy and angled just right. The cap is a little looser than I was expecting but when I remove it there's a bit of suction, so it's actually pretty tight. When you screw the top off the opening is big enough to easily accommodate filling, and with one of those spongy brushes big enough to allow you to clean the bottle if you are so inclined.One of the star rankings I was asked to rank for this review was how leak proof the item is. This product is not going to spill all over if you knock it over with the cap on, but it's not meant to be leak proof. If you want something leak proof I guess you have to leave your olive oil in the bottle that comes in.

I like to buy olive oil by the liter which is too hard to handle for cooking. This 1/2 liter size holds enough for a week and easy to handle and dispens for cooking. I put half a bottle in it and then keep the liter bottle in the refrigerator until time to refill the dispenser. I wash the dispenser in the dishwasher before I open a fresh bottle to refilll. I have no problem with leakage (except for the way oil tends to creep wherever it touches).By the way , keeping the half bottle of olive oil in in the refrigerator is the basic check if you have 100% olive oil. After 3 or 4 days the olive oil should be cloudy and clumpy - it is not clumpy some othe kind of oil is mixed in. So you need to put it at room temperature when you need to refill the dispenser.

I really like this. Bought it because I was tired of oil leaking around the cork of my glass bottle. Yes, you will have one drop of oil hang on the lip of the spout, but it is easily wiped off with a paper towel (or your finger). Looks nice on my counter and although it does tend to collect fingerprints, those are easily cleaned off. I have the 750ml style which is a good size for me. The smaller one might be better for use on the table. I think I would have trouble holding the liter size with my arthritic hands.

Dispenser is good: convenient shape, height and refilling seal and opening size.The only downside is a drop of oil coming out from the spout every time you finish pouring. It's recommended to have a paper napkin handy to dry it out, keeping the outside of the dispenser and the shelf where it's stored clean.

This is a great bottle! I've gone through about 5 -6 different types of oil bottles. Each of previous ones had the rubber stopper type at top. The problem with those are the rubber disintegrates after a while so gets gunky and have to replace. I've tried the full plastic squeeze bottle type, but those tend not to be too good for dripping oil. This one is very good as its solid, easy to pour in oil, spout is very good for controlling pour, stainless steel makes for easy clean, and no drips!

Nozzle pulls right off with the lid, every time. I think I’ve finally learned my Amazon lesson. If it’s a cheap no name (or stupid name) brand, don’t buy it because you will undoubtedly have to return it.

The bottle was pretty sleek and was easy to fill, but it began leaking at the seam immediately after first use. Specifically, right where the plastic nozzle meets the lid. At first I thought it was dripping from the nozzle after I’d pour some oil, but I used a paper towel and wiped the nozzle after each pour to be sure. There was always a ring of oil at the base of this thing on account of the defect. Hit the bin after a week.

I purchased this not for oil but for my dish soap. I wanted something nice for the counter but not glass in case it dropped and broke. Very good size and it holds a full bottle of soap. High quality stainless with a good size pouring spout.
