The product photo is very misleading, I actually received 18lbs (according to what says on the packaging) in stead of 25lbs, and the pieces are very small, around 3 inches. They do look very pretty when it’s wet, but for the value I won’t recommend this to bigger fish tank, they’ll just disappear since they’re so tiny, even after staking and resembling them together it’s still hard to get a pretty set.

By nature most rocks are not very light, and slate is no exception, so I’m not gonna mention the weight lol.The rock is a light grey that is a few shades darker when wet. My rocks arrived in the correct sizes, but were thick rather than flat leaves like the pictures suggest. That’s okay I went out and cracked them in my yard and got a nice variety of shapes, and I recommend you try it too! (SAFETY GLASSES)These are sharp rocks based on how they formed and fracture, so I would NOT recommend them for bettas or soft goldfish; I might even rub down some of the sharper edges if I were you.Other than that—it’s clean slate, I can’t complain about this purchase.

I love these rocks. They came in big sizes. The sharp edges are good for weeding out the weak fish as I only want the smart, strong fish who don’t get cut by avoiding the sharp edges. If they get caught on them, it’s just the way nature intended. I’m very satisfied

Make sure you take time to "self care" and create a nice quiet place for yourself at home 🏡. Beautiful slate rocks, my setup used the 25lb bag, which was perfect for the project I was creating. 10lb bag is more ideal for aquarium and cages. These rocks are very nice and shipped with minimal damage. I was able to use every little peace.#ZenRockGardenGood times 😌
